World An Actual Good Place To Pvp (15 Supporters)

right now all i see is people dueling in detlas and with that the advantage is normally given to mages and archers with their ability to go up high and spam arrow bombs and meteors. The closest thing i could say is close to fair as a pvp ground is ahmsords middle with its circle in the middle, and even its not fair with a warscream being enough to win

I propose a circular stadium with no camping spots would be a great way to do it, like probably make a diameter of 20 for the circle.

Now this would be a hard thing to put in the world of course because of how it wouldnt fit in very well, but I think a great way to add it would be in fruma as a quest. The quest could be a 1v1 competition type setting with programmed mobs that gets harder and harder as you go (kind of a spin on hive and toa) and to the side could be a "practice arena" thats main purpose would be for pvp

but hey thats just my opinion, and if you support it PLEASE make sure to say so by voting yes, and if you dont, make sure to explain in some way other than "meh detlas is good enough"

 

The nether already kind of serves as the major PvP arena for the game.

The nether sucks at the moment too, with poison creating knockback into lava, and the middle having a nether portal it ruins the pvp, maybe if thats fixed id like the nether, but i mean 1 on 1 pvp in the main game

Its OK for ranked battle and battle groups of people (and me saying Ok is a stretch because of that portal in the middle) but this thread is mostly pointed at the actual game for 1v1 pvp combat, where like i said the closest to an actual fair battleground is middle of ahmsord, plus with an arena we could introduce tourney events

 

They could also fix the Nether, by:

1. Getting rid of the giant portal in the middle
2. Making it harder to get hit into lava
3. Making it so that poison doesn't do knockback
4. Adding skills to the Nether
5. Adding accessories to the Nether
6. Adding elemental abilities to the Nether

If they're worried about it being unbalanced, then they should just create a system where the greater level difference you have with someone, the more of a damage/armor reduction there is for the higher leveled person, and damage/armor addition to the lower level. However, there'd be a "grace period" of 3-4 levels, in order so that the highest levels can still have fair fights.

 

once again this post sways towards the nether pvp. I am talking about an area for the actual wynncraft game, not nether and rankings (the only thing ive said about nether is that it also needs to be fixed but the thread isnt about that and it wont be getting a thread because everyone already knows whats wrong with it)

This is simply about pvp in the actual game, not nether.

 

Skills, accessories are in the Nether, if you mean charged abilities than yes there not added. Intelligence is disabled but enabling it would nerf endgame water mage a bit

 

What do you mean for 4,5, and 6? What types of skills? How do they work? And what do you mean by accessories? Will they be purchased in the nether, rewards for killing, or simply only usable in the nether. If it is the last one I suggest the restriction (Untradable, Quest Item, etc.) to be "hellforged". Also what do you mean by elemental abilities?

Regardless, I fully support this idea, just explain a little more. Also, for the armor reduction I think this would be really good as it would encourage lower levels to PvP. It should not make TOO much of a difference, because we don't want a level fifty to talk in and kill a level one hundred. Again, I still support this idea.

 

Then why are skill points removed and why are new weapons unusable in the nether?

 

I'm pretty sure those are just bugs.
