An Actual Abandoned Modern Day Rpg [5/?]

Boost Ariane up.

 

The Totem of Forces appears next to Ariane.

It shimmers for a second but that's all it takes to knock Ariane upwards at a really fast speed.

The sudden shift in speed almost knocks Ariane unconscious but she finds herself a split second later flying past the Totem of Probability.

Damn, too much power.

Ariane keeps flying up around 60 feet over it before the boost finally dies out and Ariane begins to fall.

She tries to reach for the Totem of Probability as she falls past it but misses and now finds herself about to go splat on the 103rd floor balcony.

What now?

+100% Adrenaline Energy

 

I use the totem of forces again to knock me sideways.

Ariane uses the totem to blast herself sideways away from the balcony and off the building.

Well, that buys her more time but it'll be about 4 seconds before she falls splat on the roads of Manhattan.

Gonna use this thing as a makeshift jetpack. I launch myself diagonally to the street and slightly up a bit.

It kind of works...

Ariane is able to make a non-lethal landing on the street but she definitely gets a lot of reactions with people exclaiming and looking up at nearby buildings to try and figure out where she fell from.
