I did not say I didn't respect his arguments, as a proof you can see I didn't delete all of his comments, but rather only the one that started the flame war.
They actually were flame-y, or if you prefer, contained excessive swearing and such.
    Hmm...
I don't know if you realized, but Wynncraft as a whole is a really peaceful server. Out of all the servers I went on, Wynncraft is the less toxic I've ever seen (obviously not counting small friends group servers). How is that so may you ask? Because we have a strict enough policy for toxic people not to be able to swear at others freely. The fact that in other forums people swear at each other in such awful words doesn't mean that we should let people do that on our platforms.

PS : If you still think I shouldn't have deleted his messages because they weren't flame-y enough for you, keep in mind that all flamewars don't come straight away with a fire forest, but rather with a spark on wich people put fuel. You could consider that I came here and removed both the spark and the fuel to avoid anything bad from happening.

Don't worry My Moddy, I'm not angry - just mildly dissapointed. I was looking forward to him reading my elaborate and uplifting paragraph tailored to relax the senses to a state of serenity.

But at least you did a good job preventing an apocalyptic political war on merchants.

Yeah it is peaceful. Becouse you ban/mute people as soon as they get out of the line. A nd really you can get banned for a lot of petty things.
Also don't use argument that "it could have developed into a flame war", becouse by that logic you shouldn't let anyone speak becouse they MIGHT offend somebody.

Tbh the moderators here aren't as strict as you might believe. I've been on discussion sights (cough smogon cough) in which you run the risk of being temporary banned if your content is considered "useless", and that definition is so damn broad that you can get infracted if you try to get something ranked on the viability thread, if the mod disagrees with it. I disagree with the mod team on a few things, but they are still doing a good job, and I think you are overexaggerating how controlling the mods are.

While I haven't found a case of people getting banned for posting useless content, mods are deleting "useless" content on a lot of threads.

The mods can do what they want in my opinion, if an opinion could possibly START a flame war then I can see their reasoning for deleting it. Either way it isn’t something worth arguing about, I mean, cmon, we’re better than the rest of the Minecraft community right?

Yeah let's not argue about people deleting our opinions. Let's just accept that there is A POSSIBILITIY of start a flame war, and assume any disagreement will evelve into one. Let's be better then rest of minecraft community by having one opinion.

I’m not saying don’t have opinions, I’m saying what’s the point of actually getting mad over something so trivial

My response + analysis to your statement
You do make a good point, and it is true. However whilst I can tolerate the current situation as it is, I personally believe that a player should not be obligated to either keep a class in Ahmsord or to travel that long distance in order to be able to use skill point potions in legendary island. Even if you disagree with me or my suggestion, I'm sure you understand from a logical standpoint that my proposal would save time for the players - but I think you are concerned about placing more workload on the content team. I am assuming this is the reason why you are against this suggestion being implemented in game.

I understand your opinion. After all, surely an unimportant, insignificant suggestion should be ignored or put lowest on the priority list right? Well, it depends - the fact that my suggestion has a low impact is the key as to whether it should be implemented now, later or never. Even if the majority approves, the impact is still small.

The content team would have to make an informed decision on the time and difficulty of implementing this suggestion. Only they truly understand the situation they're in, and only they can truly decide if implementing this suggestion is viable on a timescale aspect or not. Us players (me, you and Stycore included of course) cannot rely on our own perceptions of the content team, because we would be making a subjective judgement of a situation we are not experiencing first hand. We do not know for sure the time and difficulty; we can only guess, predict, and make assumptions - which is very different to a fact.

Even if a content team member tells us their situation, their response can be interpreted in various different ways and thus the same words could give a very different message to many people.

So we need to ask and allow the content team to figure out (by themselves) the time and difficulty of:
    - Finding the correct command blocks relevant to the legendary island merchant/s
    - Creating the correct commands to tweak the merchant's functions
    - Tailoring the cosmetics of the merchant/s to display the new potions

After analysing those 3 points, they can be combined together by the content team to get a good idea of the timescale for this tweak being implemented. After that, they can decide whether to go ahead and do it, or whether to scrap it.

PS: I hope this was an informative and helpful response.

So lately i've been seeing people complain about this having no downside whatsoever,

I agree with this idea but the fact people thinks its much of a big change to just place elem pots with the merchant will make it "Unchallenging" even though it wont... since you know as pointed above, place a class in ahmsord (Which oddly enough i can do with a level 11 class within like an hour).
Now I think to make this fairly balanced is by either:

Increases the price range of level 95 elem pots/mana pots

    Or

Make the potion's level around 65-80
