Airtravel Idea!

So I saw that one new thread, but I disagree'd with quite afew ideas, so I decided to make my own thread.

Firstly, you go to the receptionist, and right click him. Now a GUI pops up, and it is a list of every town that uses air travel. The towns are either green or red wool. If its green, that means you have been there before. If its red, then you havent. You cant travel to a town unless youve been there before. Now you can buy tickets to go to those towns. Tickets cost as much as regular scrolls.

towns in Wynn that use air travel:
Troms (Just add an air base)
Detlas
Almuj (Add an airbase because the lore says its in a trade route... so......)
Pirate Island

Towns in Gavel with airbases:
Llevigar
Olux
Cinfras
Thesead
Eltom
Ahmsord
Kandon Beda

To go somewhere, an NPC would be beside every airship at the airbases and when right clicked, a GUI menu kinda like the item buyer appears. The NPC will only accept tickets, and when given one, will bring you to whatever airbase.

Why this is a good idea? Why not just use scrolls?
Scrolls cost SP, but can be used anywhere. This doesnt cost SP, but can be only used in towns. Get it?

 

in what lore does it say almuj has an air base
also this has been suggested before and is lacking a lot of detail, you just listed towns

 

It just isn't very necessary, with all the travel options we have now (scrolls, detlas/cinfras airbase, horses, new vss seaskipper)
I think that another added travel system isn't the most important thing right now, and since we already have free air travel from cinfras to detlas, needing to pay to go to different towns just makes it a little complicated.

 

This is just redundant at this point. It's basically just scrolls for only a few cities.

 

The lore says tthat Almuj was established to be part of the trade route

While that is a good balancing factor, it doesn't negate the fact that there's already tons of ways to travel in wynn.

 

A trade route, not an air base you're grasping at straws

 

Whatever, my point is that adding an airbase to em would make sense because of the lore.

 

I'm 99% sure scrolls don't use sp now...

I think it's a good idea but not really. Won't say anything bout my discussion rn. (omg did you not see my thread in the bf? Pirate Islands has an airbase with da balloons)

 

Good idea but not necessary in my opinion.
