hmm...It wouldn't be all-powerful but sure. Like it can't hack a super secure computer but pretty much anything else.

 

Yes. It can also only have a hold on one machine at a time. If she (yes, my character will be female) switches control to another machine, she loses control over the first one. For example, I could hack an enemy robot, but a giant mech is coming, so I switch control to that, and lose control of the robot.
