Adding New Servers In Asia.

There are quite a few adventurers from Asia (including me and my friends). We enjoy the server, but the internet delay (pings) is way too much (high).

I believe that if the devs can add server(s) in Asia, there will be a good improvement on the player count. Thus keeping Wynncraft alive.

Put quite simply.

 

Connecting from Asia with 4Mbps internet. It just lags a bit but still playable

 

The thing is Asia usually has crazy fast wifi so it should be fine tbh.

 

Asia is a big place. I'm in Asia and it's fine

 

Doesn't matter if you got a fast connection. The time your pc needs to receive a pong after a ping to a server in the US stays the same.

 

You’re right. I live in Hong Kong and have a decent wifi. There is no lag what so ever, but the delay is so long. It affect me the most as an archer. I have a hard time aiming those jumpy jumpy spiders because of the 0.4 sec delay.

Boi think its hard playing from asia come down here to Australia fuckin tony aimbot fucked our internet up so hard

 

They can't just "add more servers in Asia." I'm sure Jumla and Salted eould love to do this if they could to make the game easier to play for the entire community, but the u fortunate part is that running these servers costs a lot of money, and the active community on Wynncraft is actually rather small compared to other servers with servers in different countries. (ie: Mineplex) Maybe in the future this can happen if our community continues to grow.

 

Same problem here in europe.
i have a good fiber connection, but during the evening when there are so much players online like now (1700+ & 40+ servers) i lag as hell; it takes 2-3 min only to connect to a server :'(
