World Add Secret Legendary Set Bonuses

Basically the items would not say on them, but if you wear a certain set a "set bonus" popup would come up under the affected items. All items would need to be equipped or worn, and if they were at the same time then they would give the bonus.

For instance...

Examples of legendary set bonuses

Almuj daggers + Almuj walkers
Set bonus:
10% + Walk speed
5% + Stealing

Nemract's Ruin + Nemract's Rage
Set bonus:
8% Spell damage
+4 strength
+4 defense

Blue mask + Adamantite + Crystal + Stalagmites
Set bonus:
5% + Walk speed
10% + Xp bonus
10% + Loot bonus
5+ Defense

I always thought about this, like wearing Full Bob's Gear, Full Tisaun, Full Gale, etc. I support.

 

I would really like it if this gets added but idk. It's just such a good idea and i cant believe they passed it over.

I don't think it would, it's a pretty simple concept

 

Although I support the idea, I remember someone mentioning that currently only Set-items can have set-bonuses.

 

That doesnt mean it isn't possible to make certain items worn together recieve them.

So you mean under the current system they can only give set bonuses to the items with the set item tag?

 

I don't really like this, it removes the exclusive perks of set items, and would make most people with money just opt for legendaries instead.

 

If they needed set bonuses, they would be set items.

 

I mean.... why have lore that links two items together and then you wear them both and .... nothing. You would imagine something special would at least happen. I can understand things like bluemask + ada etc set armor but why not things like nemracts rage and nemracts ruin? Or how about almuj's daggers and almujs walkers, they're both linked to each lore wise, why not grant a small bonus to just make them feel a little more special. I'm not saying do this to every item, im saying do it for like idk 5 combinations out of all the items in the game.

 

Because if they need set bonuses, they'll be set items. Most items are fine on their own.
