World Add Inns To Large Cities Around The World

    With the new gear system that allows your health to change in any way possible, it's boring to wait in houses or break the bank buying lots of potions to heal yourself is not exactly desireable. Getting down to low health and reaching a city barely alive only to realize that you have to afk is a tad inconvenient. Instead of making people wait or buy potions, why not add inns? They're cheaper than buying stacks of potions, take less time than afk regening, and aren't overpowered because they're stationary! Now if you're a mage main, this isn't necessarily appealing to you of course, since you can just heal yourself. But for the other 3 classes, this is a must-have for fast and easy healing in safe areas. They would be found near the entrances and exits of towns, and for hub towns like Detlas and Cinfras, they would be near the center. They would cost 5E-32E as you progress in levels, but please no more than 32E, devs! It ruins the idea of cost effective healing!

    HUGE Addition the idea, Credit to Nubunderscored (sorry to everybody else whose ideas were just added to the main post w/o credit, I'll credit you all soon!): There would be a few inns in the wilderness, especially in dangerous and hard to navigate places where people die a lot. Inns also have taverns where you can buy some whiskey outside of Nemract. Potions are also available in inns.

    My additions to the expansion are: Potions should only be sold at inns in the wilderness as well as the wilderness inns' "special brews." I say only in the wilderness as to prevent already existing potion shops from becoming obsolete. These "special brews" should give you various perks that have an upside and a downside. E.g. High STR increase, but a High ATKSPD decrease with it, ir something like that. As far as minecraft will let you go!

    But what if you're on 2 or fewer soul points? Inns don't cost you soul points!

    Sounds like a good idea, but will those inns be at every exit/entrance? Or just a new special house?
    How would this work when players are dueling?

    I suggest to work out this idea a bit further. Other than that, +1 c:

    Inns can be placed anywhere in the city by the devs, but I would suggest that they place them somewhat close to the entrance/exit. For hub towns like Detlas that have many entrances and exits, I suggest that they be placed near the center of the town. Players in a duel will be told that there's no time for them to rest.

    The inns would cost you cash, but please, devs, don't raise the cost for them above 1 EB! Inns are not supposed to be very expensive, and an inn costing you 4 EB should be for the level 100s!

    Topping off mana is good too, if and when that gets affected by gear too. At the moment, however, it's not necessary needed because it regens much faster than health.

    If it would cost mutliple EB, it would be quite weird though. Most players have to run to the bank to get those emeralds and then go to an Inn. When they have done that they have regened too much to still "Waste money" on those inns.

    4 EB is a tad excessive, even for the endgame. You're right. Devs, if you add this, please no more that 1 EB.

    I have another idea! Why don't we just increase the default amount of health regen? Maybe 1% every second so it only takes 100 seconds to completely refill your health. It also would not be overpowered and would make potions still used frequently as it still takes almost 2 minutes to regenerate fully.

    True, but the number of potions is what I'm thinking about. Around lvl 75, it takes 3 potions to restore ~4500 HP, which is approx. 2/3 their max HP (of course, depends on armor and accessories but at that level your gear should bring you to around the 6500 mark) and that costs a little over 1 EB. Inns are more cost and time effective. Potions themselves take some time to use. Yes, it is a short while, but inns are instantaneous. Although, I think maybe I should lower the max price for inns to 48E, to make them more cost effective.

    You realize it takes longer to walk to a building in the middle of a city than it takes to use a potion 3 times. You're suggesting that the devs add an entirely new feature to the game because you can't wait 9 seconds or pay 50 emeralds for a potion. Health regen should be increased to fix this issue but adding inns is just unnecessary.

    Ah man, this thread gave me the feels.

    Anyone remember inns in PM:TTYD (Paper mario: The thousand year door), they cost like 5 coins and healed you entirely?
    Aaaaah, good times...

    Anyways, great suggestion, perfect for an RPG. Just make it more appealing to the eyes and put a little more effort.

    Or you can walk in, go to a room, and sit there for a while with INCREASED regen instead of having to pay. Then instead of an insta heal, you have to wait for, say a minute until all of your health regens. This way it actually is cheaper than potions.

    Plus, one potion for 48 emeralds can max heal me, why would I pay 1 EB.

    To add onto your idea, we could hire a bunch of mages to heal people. But a simple way is to just ask for heals, the idea is pretty nice though, although it would be weird to go to sleep at night in the Inn and wake up only to be night still.
