Add Bookcases for Tomes

Let's say you have a ton of tomes from either your guild or raids that you'd like to keep. Maybe someday you'll need that double +3 DEX tome for your Archer and realize you already blacksmithed it because you didn't have the space. Maybe you want to keep your mythic armour tomes for resistance because you're already using tomes that require HPR (i.e. Warp users) or walk speed, etc.

Enter bookcases. They're similar to build stands except instead of holding onto your gear, this will hold tomes for you! This idea is similar to the POH bookcases in RuneScape.

Add an NPC Type Block with the tome icon:


or alternatively just the bookcase block

And the bookcase itself can just be the vanilla bookshelves (2 stacked on top of each other) with text above saying "Bookcase".

It would open up an interface similar to a bank chest and be able to hold up to a certain amount of tomes (~9 is probably enough for 1 bookcase). The cost should be kept the same as other NPC-type blocks with a base price that increases as you buy more.

Especially if they ever add more/better IDs for them. I remember I scraped an hpr tome a long time ago, the I needed one for a build and spent 8 hours raiding to get it. Got another Mythic for my efforts tho.

 

would this item be champion-exclusive (like the build stand), or would it be available for all ranks; also, how much would 1 bookcase cost and would there no limit to the number of bookcases you can store?

Personally I think all the things should be available to all ranks so I'm biased towards keeping it that way but it's probably better to make it rank-exclusive for consistency.

I'll put the cost in the post, basically it'll be the same as every other block but increases in price as you buy more. I suppose there wouldn't be a limit although you'd be broke by the time you filled your home with bookcases, much like the other NPC blocks (unless there's a hard limit to them).
