Quest Add A Way To Get Back Our Breathing Helmet I

The revamped Underice requires the Breathing Helmet I, which a TON of us has thrown away because we thought we didn't need it in the future. Now that Underice requires it, it pains me in the ass to see just that 1 incomplete quest in the quest book.

Solution:

Add a merchant in Maltic that sells Breathing Helmet I. Make it so you have to complete Underwater to gain access to the merchant.



I believe this addition could help out most of us here. Nobody wants to waste time levelling to level 8 just to get back a quest item that we uninformedly threw away because we thought we wouldn't need it anymore, and 1 Breathing helmet was enough.



Also while you're at it actually make /fixquests work instead of making it give 2 purple glass and a flower pot everytime

 

In case you haven't noticed it doesn't give back the breathing helmet.

The only reason fixquests doesn't work for you is because you have a breathing helmet on one of your classes somewhere, or in your bank, so it won't give another to you until you use it. /fixquests works perfectly fine for me.

 

Your fault for throwing away a quest item in the first place, also a merchant for breathing helmets would be a cheat, since people mid quest in Underwater can buy a helmet and get the end quest items instead of doing the quest normally. Also flat out confusing for new players, who think every merchant is important .3. (Not in malaise)

 

I said the player can only gain access to the merchant AFTER finishing the quest. God, why do people never read.

I admit it's partially my fault, but there is no fucking way we have to store every quest helmet/item/etc for each class. Most of us thought we only needed one Breathing Helmet for the game, and we threw the others away. Now that no one in the CT informed us beforehand that we need the breathing helmet for Underice, we're stuck. It's our fault, and their fault at the same time. Thus, I see adding a merchant that sells the breathing helmet as the only viable solution to this matter.

 

I don't think there is a way to restrict a player from using a certain merchant for people without making a blockage for a certain area. While it is unfair that you were given no warning, you need to take into consideration that when an item is labeled as a Quest Item, you'd probably need it for a later quest or need it for a certain quest it's given from. It's mostly just the use of common sense that is needed to be taken into consideration.

 

What if all your classes are high leveled, like mine are?

 

Then you're screwed, or you can also delete one if it's really annoying you.

All of our class slots are full. What would I do if I had this bug? All my classes are level 81 or higher!

 

XavierEXE, Why would you of all people throw them all out, if your class lvl 81, you should atleast have one breathing helmet, yes its a pain and it takes inventory space, but like srsly why would you throw them all out?

 

I threw all but one out, but /fixquests isn't broken for me, I can do the quest just fine by getting the helmet back with /fixquests

 

I don't have the same problem, but I can see where this suggestion is coming from. Even if the mistake is a really dumb, stupid, and unworthy move, it should make sense for /fixquests to help get the helmet back. I have seen other suggestions asking the same thing, and the request makes sense. Just think about it if you had accidentally lost your helmet, regardless of whether or not you knew it was a quest item. You probably wouldn't want to have to revert >81 levels of progress just for an item that isn't exactly hard to obtain, especially if there is another solution that doesn't function with it.

I think that /fixquests working for breathing helmets 1 makes sense, but a merchant probably doesn't (lore, etc).

also bankspace makes keeping 4 or so breathing helms entirely impractical when you could hold legendaries in there instead

 

I used /fixquests on several occasions and on multiple classes, and it always gave me exactly what I needed, plus some other quest items that I had thrown away. I specifically used it three times to get three breathing helmets, and it always worked. So I don't see your problem here, you probably have another breathing helmet hidden somewhere.
