World Add A New Emerald Tier

I know this was suggested a million times, but not doing this makes trading with really really high value items difficult and annoying due to limited bank and class inventory along with a small trade window.

Let's also not forget about the bank and class slots wasted on holding this much LE in the first place. It's really tiring to see, what I believe to be, a really essential addition like this to be overlooked or be put off in fear of dupers coming in and ruining everything.

I believe the risk is worth it at this point. Just add a new tier. Maybe call it Concentrated Liquid Emeralds or something; or use a name the community already came up with. The more emeralds from new quests and/or mechanics that get introduced will only make things worse for everyone. Maybe it doesn't have to be an item.. maybe it could be a system.. but still.. something.. please..?

I agree with you.

People who have stacks upon stacks of LE (not me, I'm poor) have wasted class slots for bank classes just to hold these stacks.

This could save classes from becoming bank or storage classes, and they could actually be used for other stuff. You know, getting those Hive Vouchers, trying to get a good Neck of 1k Storms, etc.
(off-topic: is neck of 1k storms that good?)

We'll never suggest it again if someone gives us an answer to the previous million suggestions.

Will it never happen? Will it happen but it's just not a priority right now? We can't read the staff's mind.

 

Threads like these have been answered so goddamn many times. Basically, inflation's a bitch, and there shouldn't be this much money on the market. Therefore an item for stacked LE shouldn't exist either. This also means items shouldn't cost as much as they do (like seriously, dozens of stacks for a single strati).

The more reasonable option would be to fix the economy, and that's not an easy thing to do, since we cannot just remove someone's emeralds with no apparent reason. What could be done, is decreasing the amount of loot gotten, and adding more money sinks in the world of Wynn.

In addition to this, it's not exactly helping that people abused unintentional bugs to break the economy even further. *cough cough, amadel grinding*

Kind of sad since the economy will take ages to fix and that as we know from japanCraft on the reality network huge amounts of deflation is bad.

If it's trading you're worried about, a new trading UI and system would work fine.
The only reason we have so many emeralds is because of the economy. We don't want to further encourage inflation by making it easier to have emeralds.
If bank space is what you're worried about, a better banks suggestion exists.

 

So people have stopped caring about selling items to the item buyer, quests and dropped emeralds and will start caring about them again if they get a new emerald tier? Sorry but I don't buy that argument. You don't "encourage inflation" you solve the problem either by making the influx of money smaller or making more money sinks.

The bank and trading suggestions are way more resource intensive than this and that is why this is suggested.

 

I don't think you get it.
The reason we HAVE so many emeralds is because of our shitty economy. We wouldn't need this tier if our economy wasn't shit. If we can't fix our economy then we use the two other suggestions (trading UI and better banks).
