Its a fire pit in the middle of an icy mountain which has a giant hole in it

Yeah but at least SOME reasoning on why theres a fire pit in a giant hole in the mountain would be nice :/

Also the bridge itself has odd mob placement,
there really is no challenge getting across unless you stay still for like 2 secs then you might die, or if you dont have a horse you die

    Lore - TRADE.

The Great Bridge is this really grand and mysterious place, the discovery kind of has to explain a bit more about it. Who built it and why? Either that or put its lore elsewhere, it really doesn't work to have such an important place be there, "don't question it".

A possible idea I had was that the bridge used to be like The Passage, built before the portal was discovered as a way of getting to Troms, but following the fall of Ragni (when Bob was born), an army was sent to attack Troms as well, guided quickly through the Nesaak cold by Bak'al. They completely overwhelmed the tunnels's guards, prompting the entire Tromsian army to man the passage against the horde. Seeing that they had no chance of holding them off, Slykaar detonated the tunnel using a deadly explosive he developed, killing most of Troms' army but all of the attack force with the exception of Bak'al, leaving a vast and heavily corrupted cavern. After Bob turned the tide of the war, Troms began an effort to reclaim the passage, building a bridge across it and formidable defences on each side. The bridge quickly fell to the intense corruption of the area, but thanks to Bob's defenses it remains contained and passable.

it tells you everything you need to know.

no questions asked, you don't need to know anything; just run.
