I feel that you should be able to pay whatever you want for an item, there should be no punishment for that. I got banned before for paying 2 new le for 1 old le was i scamming someone? No of course not! I was giving them money! Thats the complete opposite of scamming. If i buy a trading card and 10 years later it gets reprinted does that old one have to have the value of the new one? Of course not! The people make the economy! Rules should not.

Better yet if i own a company and i sell a product above MSRP and people pay for it.. Is that scamming?

you cant pay more for an old item than what you will be willing to pay for the new version, however you can pay what you want for the new item so same goes for the old one.

technically a seller can auction a set for a normal price while stating it is equal to an undyed set and if the bid goes into the stacks of le zone no one is to blame (how I sold my nether set for a stack after this thread was posted)
