Ability To Instant Delete

Simply put, there's no way to say that you definitely want to delete a character when you put in to delete one, and it's kind of boring waiting 20 minutes for a test character to delete. Can't some kind of "shift + right click" function be added, so that one may tell the game to instantly delete the character?

 

It's easily abuseable. Plus you haven't experienced the real wait time. For level 80 it takes 4 days to delete it and for level 100 it takes a little under a month.

 

Yes they need to add this and when you klick it yahya eats you carecter and then he or she is gone. Rip.

I deleted four level 100 classes a while back. It took a little under 22 days. Honestly, I think the wait is a good thing, but it should definitely max at about a week or so. Maybe 10 days?

 

I have no idea how this will be added.
For one, the wait time is most likely because Wynncraft is deleting all of your quest progress, XP, leveling, inventory currency, inventory items, armour, weapon, horse, class, elemental bonuses on weapons, visited cities and scroll ability, soul point max, and this list is getting long, so I probably shouldn't say all of it. This is most likely why deleting a higher level class takes significantly longer than a lower level class. There is more information on it.

Therefore, I have no idea how you could instantly wipe one of your classes. It would be cool, but I feel like it isn't possible to implement.

But then again, I'm not a mod, or a theorist, so if I'm wrong please correct me.

 

They probably have it delete at a rate that's low enough to have no impact on gameplay (It probably slowly deletes while spending minimum CPU resource)

 

But you don’t have to delete it before you can play a new class. The best way to bipass this potential problem would be to move the data to a different location so you can play youlass well the old one deletes

Jokes aside, moving the data to a different location wouldn't help. It'd still be there, and the CT would still have to do something with it. Also, the wait probably isn't best just for the server, but also if someone accidently started deleted their class, they could simply stop the process.
