"You were willing to pay me 5 gold for a non-substantial favour, so why not for substantial breakfast?"

 

"Because you refused the deal"

 

*sighs* "You need food. Fine, we'll make it four."

 

"Are there any ones that do?"

 

I put 4 gold on the table "so how long until the foods ready?"

ic. Just sit near the fire, still listening to thw surroundings.

 

"There's a blacksmith a ways away from here."

"A few moments!"

No, just trying to get them to charge Rayne extra.

The cloaked figure rises and walks to the counter.

 

I wait as I scan the room with Lewis's eyes

 

You notice nothing abnormal except for:
1: Rayne (duh)
2: Favos (also duh)
But 3: A figure in a hooded white cloak embroidered with golden thread to show an eye encircled by rays of light standing by the counter.

 

I approach the cloaked figure and say "hello"

 

They turn around, mug of milk in hand.
They have a white mask covering the upper part of their face.
"Yes?"

 

Dose the voice seem male or female?

 

It's hard to determine. Somewhere in-between.

 

"I'm new in town and you look interesting"

 

"A lot of people tell me so. I am not native to this town either. I am merely a messenger."
You notice that four out of five fingers on the hand he's holding the mug in are covered in golden claw-like attachments, each one linked with the other via a small golden chain.

 

"Messenger?"

 

"I was told to wait here for a group of travellers and guide them in the right direction to continue a quest they have been given."
