Basically; you left the boat, Favos walked up to a random girl and said hello. They got in a conversation, Favos showed her a magic trick, they left to an abandoned house, the girl (Karla) shows Favos something she can do, and almost deals 12 damage to him. She apologizes, and they go to her house to meet her father. Karla's father is a generic elf Wizard who doesn't use very much magic anymore. He's been on lots of adventures and collected many trophies and relics from the places he's been to. Some of these include a feather cloak, a wooden staff, a pair of nice black boots, a fancy spellbook, and other exotic items.
Favos wants to copy some Ritual spells from Karla's father's book and needs ink, buys 6 bottles of fine ink and is currently copying the spell into his book I believe. Karla's dad (Evaren) shows Favos a memory from an adventure, they talk about his relics.

Btw, some of the objects in the glass cage include: a bronze ring with a purple brain gem; a scroll; a leather bag with a painted face; a wooden wand; a bottle of dense purple liquid; and a few other small gems and the like.

"Ah, probably one of the harder items to procure. A long time ago, me and a group of friends had to infiltrate a Mind Flayer colony and stop them from destroying the capital of that land."
Evaren proceeds to tell you how they snuck in, past the guards, entered into an ambush but emerged victorious, peeked into the transformation chambers to save some un-transformed people, then fought their way to a room where they could disguise themselves as Mind Flayers to get to the Elder Brain. They managed to successfully infiltrate the Pool Chamber. They managed to penetrate the shield around the Elder Brain and slay it.

There are a lot of fish shops. Some equipment shops as well.

The shop is filled with warm fur clothes, fishing gear, a couple weapons and a few heat items.
