”Indeed, I have collected many different samples on my travels. Most of them remain sealed to this day.”
Karla rolls her eyes, smiling

 

"With the gold I currently have I can only afford to copy one spell. Could I buy some inkthe from you?"

 

”Of course, what kind?”

 

"There are different kinds of ink?"

 

”Most certainly! We here do not have the resources to make ink, so we buy it from a certain source. It is good ink, but I have ptocured other kinds made from different materials and in different colors.”

 

"What's the cheapest one?"

 

”That would be a recipe from an organization I came across once. They had great quality ink, but at a low production cost. One ounce would be five gold pieces. The price of regular ink is ten.”

 

"I'll need about 50 gold worth of ink, but is there any way you can cut me a deal to 48 gold?"

 

”Oh, that is a lot. I have forgotten how much it takes to copy- ...Yes, that would be possible.”

 

"Oh thank you very much" I pull out my coin purse and get the gold

 

”Perhaps this will do? It is ink from an island province I stayed on for some time.”
He hands you six bottles of nice, black ink.
