No they just look like dry, dusty and sand-covered zombies

 

Is there a well in this city?
Or a way to get water?

Slightly move my clothes so that my canteen is hidden.
Fall back a bit so I'm next to the paladin (H0Y: Anduin) and whisper under my breath, "All undead."

Boindil walks up to one of the inhabitant zombies and says "Hi".

 

It turns its gaunt, dry face to you and moans.
You think you can see something in the likeness of fire flickering deep in its dead gaze.

 

Boindil steps away and gets his shield out in case the thing attacks.

 

It takes a step forward

 

"Wrong person sorry." And takes the dodge action in case the thing attacks.

 

It raises an arm, you hear dry skin crackling as it does so

 

Are any other zombies also looking? If it starts tracing somatic components for a spell Boindil will knock the arm aside with his shield (that should stop the spell right?). Further he just keeps waiting to see if the thing attacks and if it does dodging.

 

Two other zombies are looking at you
The one with its arm outstretched moves its hand closer to you
