Do not say it is because of you. There might also be a chance of a fine dinner there. After that, you three will want to get some sleep, then return to the hideout."

I start walking back to the building where he was last time.

 

"We should tell him yeah" and walks into the building and up the stairs

 

I assume Rayne follows?
It takes some time to get through the crowd, but you reach the building in a few minutes. The staircase is cramped with all three of you.

 

Boindil goes through the door. I assume the crowd isn't also on the stairs?

 

They’re not.
You enter into the same chamber, you see a long table has been set up i the middle. At the far end is the mayor in his chair. There are a few servants and some noble-looking people.
They all turn to look at you three.

 

"The sailors of the grave are headed towards the island they will be here in about 10 hours."

If they are indeed approaching, that means Cthulhu has finally gathered enough power to release Vengeance upon the oceans. This is grave news indeed. Like, mainlanders would not have heard about Vengeance, but you’re not a common mailnlander.
Vengeance is the supposed name of the ship the Sailors of the Grave sail.

 

Hm.
Does that score in history tell me what happened to it? Who the captain was? Why they sailed?

 

It was lost in a storm and claimed by Cthulhu, but later some mages managed to trap it beneath theocean floor.
The captain was unknown. They sailed to explore.

 

Do I know what mages?
Or a reason believed as to why Cthulhu claimed it?

The chair is comfy, and the food smells delicious.
There’s meat in all varieties, fine drinks, also water, spices, vegetables.

 

I take a seat, grab the biggest piece of meat and start eating it with bare hands.
