DM does Boindil know about the alignments dragons tend to have? I'm pretty sure that the city made some deal with the green dragon looking at the alignments.

Boindil was told that it does lead to Limbo and that if it was open the city would be consumed by chaos so I think he can say that. Although I should probably make an arcana check to see if he knows more: 18+0=18

Yeah red is choatic evil and green is choatic lawful which is why I think they made a deal with the green dragon

You basically know what is stated in the DMG about Limbo.

It’s a chaos plane. Materials in there switch here and there. If you’re strong enough, you can shift the chaos.

In the monster manual I think there are the alignments, try googling red dragon 5e and green dragon 5e.

 

But how much of it do I know? ;-;

 

Black dragons commonly live in swamps, blue dragons live in barren places, green dragons live in forests, red dragons live in mountains, white dragons live in icy caves, brass dragons live in deserts, bronze dragons live in coastal caves, copper dragons live in dry uplands, gold dragons live in secluded places, silver dragons live on high mountains among the clouds.
Note that these are only common habitats.
