He goes down the staircase having his his shield ready in case it's a bad thing

 

*waits for food*

 

The potions shop is a low-ceilinged house with wood-shuttered windows. The door is slightly crooked. Inside, you immediately feel the fumes of burned matter, along with some other smells; sour, rich, and so on. The shop has one burning candle on a desk against the far wall. There are shelves full of different colored vials, flasks and bottles. Several bubbling cauldrons can also be seen. There's a little bell on the desk.
You see a raven with a white feather sitting on the desk, there's also an old man stirring a cauldron.

The books here are all Larath's.

After a little bit, the bartender comes out with a piece of roast ram on a wooden plate.

Down the stairs is a long corridor with marble floor. On the walls are glass display cases containing various items. There are three old stone gargoyles; one behind the stairs, and one on either side.

 

Nodding my thanks, I take the plate and start eating.

 

It's very good.

 

Then I just pick a random book

 

Does it seem like this place offers room?

 

You get: "The Secrets of Neidar", a book that looks written pretty hastily.

Well, it has a sign saying: "Rooms", but you can ask the bartender.

 

Gesture to get the bartender's attention again. >.<

 

He walks over to you.
"Yes?"

 

Point at the sign talking about rooms.
"Open?"
