She puts the 'book' back in the shelf.
(I love how she's still wearing the veil in her own house, but that's a core part of her character; being suspicious af)

 

I start taking a short rest to lvl up. I can still talk to her while resting right?

 

Yeah, as long as you're not fighting, casting spells, or doing anything else streesful.

Yeah, but do I recover all my hp like in a long rest? Get stuff back like healing light?

 

When you level up, you regain your stuff right? I mean, in the normal game you can just level up whenever.
