Yes Boindil will listen to the voices on the wind. He has that much HP because he healed himself to be able to withstand another hit. He has 3/3 (no healing spells unfortunately) spell slots left

Would it be possible to light torches in the storm? If so Boindil lights 4 from his backpack and hands them out to people. For heat

 

If we lit someone on fire, they could be our heat. I say bondil since he has lots of health and i can cast resistance on him

 

Yes until the fire goes out and that person is left without clothes. No thanks

 

Also he only has about 10 more hp then the rest. Not lots more
