''I see, does that mean she wasn't interested in the show?''

 

"She was, but she needs practice. A Sorcerer cannot leave their skills unmastered."

After some time, all the seats are filled. The bartender comes into the room and says:
"Welcome to the premiere of the Flying Orca show! Tonight, you will witness two skilled warriors do battle. Note that these are professional fighters and have voluntarily agreed to this."

A section of the wall opens up and two people enter, one female in leather armor, long daggers at her sides; and one man in a long brown trenchcoat over chainmail.
Something seems off, however, since their hands are being held as in manacles, surrounded by a greenish glow.
After them, four figures in dark hooded robes enter the room. They stand as in a square and raise their right hands. A dome of shuddering air appears around the two champions.
As the dome appears, the fighters' hands are released.

Whats underneath it?

mrdieval times were wierd.
Also, it's like a crush, not a relationship. >.>

 

The robed people seem familiar.

The fighters square off, the male throwing his coat aside, drawing two longswords.
The woman draws her daggers, crouching.

She makes the first move, dashing forwards and slashing at the man, who dodges the blow. The woman moves back until she hits the dome, which ripples.
The man runs his hand along the blade of his left sword before launching himself at the woman. He slashes her with the sword, dealing 12 Slashing damage.
She moves away, and as she does, there is a loud blast and she takes 1 thunder dmg.

You find a dagger with a golden handle in the shape of a dragon's jaws and with bright blade carved with Undercommon script.

I turn to Harb as this is happening. ''Should we make a bet?''

 

Harb: "If you wish."

 

''You can bet first''

 

Harb: "I think the Rogue will be victorious."

 

''It appears we think the same. I also think the women will win''

 

I know... what?

 

The Rogue sneaks up behind the male, stabbing him, dealing 15 Piercing damage.
The male doubles over for a moment, then throws his arms out to his sides. A piercing light wakes in his eyes and a pair of spectral eagle wings sprout from his back, lifting him into the air. The dome is not very tall though.
The Rogue slashes at him, dealing 11 damage.
The male clutches his hand to his chest and for a moment he glows white, regaining 8 hp. He then proceeds to slash twice at the Rogue, missing both. He slashes again, hitting the first dealing 4 dmg, he also hits the other, dealing 9 dmg.
