A Modern Day Fantasy Rp [6/10]

Luckily for you, I’m back (though today will be somewhat busy due to irl stuff). Anyways, back to the rp.

Note to self: these two are somewhat dense. Additional explanations will be necessary when dealing with them.

Niko: “I suppose I have gotten a basic understanding of your ability.” Gestures at Tigger while saying this. “And I could simply test you after an... explanation of my... work here.” Gestures to Zander while saying this.

Niko: “I may as well reintroduce myself. I go by Niko, and I work here as a general sparring partner. ”

 

''It looks more like you just want to beat up new recruits at this point''

 

Niko: “To be fair, I was expecting you two to fight back.”

 

"I just thought that we were makin g you into a zombie, not fighting you"

Looking back to where the voice came from, I scratch my head.
"What."

 

"More like you leave burned feet and shoes behind," the revolvers dude snickers.

That gets him a sigh of frustration from practically everyone else.

What now?

You turn to find that what seems to be the local gang and two teenagers, a girl and a boy. The local gang seems to be pretty tied up and preoccupied... yeah there's a tribal symbol and a lot of ropes leeching and tying them to the ground. The boy and the girl appear to be running away from the local gang in the opposite direction of you. What now?

 

Ken? Is that you?
Did you switch teams and started dual wielding guns?

Noctua was truly surprised to find a dismayed and tearful Aquila and an unconscious Kayla in the Alocline Temple. Aquila was working frantically to try and wake up Kayla but with no success. He wondered why she simply wasn't using her magical prowess to do the job. Emotionally battered? Probably the reason why and mostly probably his fault... unless Cornix got to her.

What even happened to the girl anyway?

The moment she noticed him enter the room, she glared at him. "...I don't want to hear any of your witty comments right now Noctua...!"

The smart side of him told him to help her but the stupid, emotional side that he kept repressing back told him that this was justice and karma for what happened 2 years ago. So he just stood there, watching completely still.

Aquila was still annoyed by his presence. "...Leave me alone..." And with that, a shining light from the sky teleported the two away. He knew exactly where they went though, but he didn't bother to follow them. He'd find out later.

Kayla found herself painfully waking up in the middle of a field . . . Definitely one on Earth, no sky islands in sight. She found Aquila nearby next to her, hugging her legs, her expression looking close to tears. She was staring at the floor, seeming to be in a trance.

It was Kayla trying to sit up that snapped Aquila back to reality. "Lay down..." she commands. "You need to rest..."

Kayla couldn't manage to sit up on her own anyway so she conceded and lied back down.

Suddenly, an earth pyramid / tent surrounded and trapped Aquila as two figures entered the spotlight. Diana and Columba.

"Hey, we're here to kidnap you!" Columba says way too gleefully.

The earth tent then gets demolished with a now unreadable expressioned Aquila with a silver bow. "Leave us alone..." Aquila growls.

A big rock of earth emerges from the ground and flies straight at Aquila who sprouts out her wings, picks up Kayla who yelps in pain, and flies out of the way. She then lays down Kayla back on the ground before a couple love roots from the ground charge at her. Aquila sends back a blast of wet wind obliterating the magical roots and a mini Aurora Borealis starts at her feet.

Diana then beckons a large piece of earth to detach itself floating in the air. She then closes her fist and the piece of earth crumbles into several small floating debris.

"You have the disadvantage here Aquila," Diana yells. "Looks, it's 2v1 and you have to protect your softee over there. You're bound to get hurt if you do this the hard way. Give up already."

"...I'm not backing down..." Aquila nocks an arrow as several other floating bows and icicles form around her.

"You know we're just playing with you, right Aquila?" Columba smiles. Suddenly, a ton of magical roots form around Kayla as she frantically summons a wooden bow which forms and spins above her body slashing away at the roots. However, the roots are still able to overwhelm her after a few seconds and that's well all hell breaks lose.

Aquila fires her shots and Diana sends her machine gun of rocks. The defeaning sound fills the air as Aqulia's arrow and ice storm overwhelm Diana's rock storm. Diana is forced to beckon a large earth wall to stop from getting hit.

Cillfhanger.

The scene fades away.

Fun Fact: The bow Kayla summoned is called Iron String Metal Shaft (Yes, definitely not fanmade off of my immaginiation of Iron String)

Well... Kayla's scenes are full of fun things, even when I'm not there. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm trying but no matter how much I annoy Quila, she won't kill. xD

Oof. I counted Diana for some reason.
