A Modern Day Fantasy Rp [6/10]

I haven't responded to to the fact that this rp is blazing fast compared to the sluggish, almost snail-like pace at which I live my life, along with finals coming up. I'll go from here, page 57 out of 76 wha
I did still notice the 'Kayla' name though, although I highly doubt you were really trying to sneak that past me.
"Uuuh... so..."
I was totally in the building, seeing as I ordered that drink, but I probably had headphones on or something.

 

"I suppose I'll keep thing secret while I spam my abilities to find out more about what we're dealing with. Also, I need to raise the entire's association's strength by a few levels. And... uh- I'm taking recommendations."
I grin sheepishly.

 

I go find a taxi to a few blocks away so it won’t be suspicious.

"Oh, hey Marcus . . ." Lex grins his joyful facade coming back. "I didn't notice that you entered the building . . . How are you today?"

Kayla doesn't know you're talking about the Magia Tenebris.

". . . You can't exactly keep injuries secret . . . People will know something happened . . ." Kayla murmurs.

You're able to reach your destination in around 40 minutes. You, however, don't really notice anything out of the ordinary . . . What now?

 

"Good, but apparently I missed some stuff last night. Statue of Liberty? If this stuff normally happens how is the city still standing?"

 

I already exposed @Azura about that lol.

"This isn't normal at all . . ." Lex sighs. "A criminal escaped and destroyed the Statue of Liberty as a message saying 'I'm Back'." As he says that more people all wearing black cloaks walk into the room. Lex simply nods his head in greeting. What now?

 

.-. Well shit.

I shrug.
"I was more talking about the poison. Try not to talk about it openly, I'm looking into it."
How's Aquila reacting?

 

". . . Okay . . ." was her simple response.

Aquila looks glum, and there's a trace of worry and fear in her eyes. What now?

 

SS Aquila.
"Anything you want to say?"
End SS and stablize myself.
I nod to Kayla.
"How's the arm feeling?"
I motion towards the arm that was shot by the arrow.

 

The only response you get from Aquila is a flinch from surprise.

". . . Painful....extremely painful . . ." Kayla mutters. That gets Aquila to hang her head low once again. What now?

 

I nod my head.
"Aside from that, how else do you feel?"

 

"...Tired..." she murmurs. What now?

 

"Your magic fine?"

 

Kayla weakly raises up her right hand and summons a weak, small, yellow flame in her palm. That seems to catch Aquila's attention, her expression turning more worried. ". . . It's fine . . ." Kayla lies.

Here's some more OOC Info for you (@Arch is just gonna make fun of me at this point I bet)

You can tell how weak or strong Kayla is by the color of her flames. Orange legit just means normal / powerful. Dark Orange means she's probably angry or sad. Yellow isn't exactly a good sign. It means she's weak. And light yellow isn't a good sign at all. Oh, and Dark Blue means she is completely destroyed emotionally and extremely demoralized.

 

"Dancer and Raisa aren't. But yeah, the rest I agree with."

"Actually," I raise my hand and point out my index finger. "This warehouse has a load of leftover food right?"

"Yes, about a year's worth . . ." Wilo says.

"That changes everything," Crow grumbles. "You don't need to worry about money yet if you have a year's worth of food Alister. I mean sure, you might need some other spare stuff but you already have enough food . . ."

If I know:

I shake my head.
"I don't even think I need True Sight for that one..."
"What were you trying to get by attempting to convince me?..."

If I don't know:
I glance at Aquila.
Then, I say towards Kayla, "She says otherwise" while motioning towards Aquila's face.
"How bad is it?" I ask Aquila.

 

Meanwhile, the sword simply listens into this convo. I mean seriously, this conversation is too much for Niko to even interrupt, much less comment on. I guess I'll keep on watching.

“- I.......” Kayla falters. Her right hand goes back to her left shoulder and she winces in pain. What now?

It was more of like self-motivation. Like trying to say, “I can still fight,” even after being brutally wounded or something.
