"Hello this is Zander. I have been investigating the ruble of the Empire state building and found some strange spikes that come out of the ground, I also haven't been able to brake them of with magic. Do you by any chance know what they are?"

You flip through the book but can’t find the magical page.

The door is gone.

The man tackles Thomas to the ground while Daniel rolls on the ground trying to put out the fire on his clothes.

And remember the man has a knife.

Roll towards the fire dude.

Sit back down and open to the magical pages. (Mirror, idk, and one other)

I'll punch him. Punch him hard.
Preferably the face.

 

i try to turn the tendrils back on him

 

Now it's more of a magical particle war although you can tell your adversary isn't really trying.

Tendrils explode in the middle and no one's really making any progress.

Thomas punches the man hard on the face and he rolls off of Thomas dropping his switch-knife.

Daniel starts to roll towards the man as some burning wood from the ceiling falls on top of him. Just like a plank, not some hella heavy piece of wood.

What now?

 

"Any idea what it might be?"

 

Just keep punching till he's unconcious.

 

Get the switch knife and stab the plank off of me.

The switch-knife is too far away from Daniel.

Thomas gets over the man and starts sending a volley of punches but the man is able to push Thomas off him and kick him into the opposite wall.

What now?
