@Arch I survey the group, then walk over to Cuffs. "That was a good plan, it was worth the try. At least we are getting a better grasp of his abilities."

 

"Then can you tell me where to go or give me a map"

 

"Yeah . . . " I sigh scratching the back of my head. "I kinda wanted it to succeed since it cost the energy of my friend but things are never that easy huh?"

 

"Yeah, things just don't usually work out it seems. What are you going to do now?"

 

"I dunno to be honest . . ." I respond. "Probably get back to my friends with Cander and come up with a good excuse as to why he's in this condition . . ." I then sigh and look up at the sky before going on. "I've learned not to think too far ahead. If I try to plan something for the future, it all gets taken away from me . . ." I then fix my gaze at you (ha totally not stealing Azura's writing style). "Now what do you plan on doing? Joining that Order of Seriousness or something?"

 

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t understand you over your shitty insult” I say thinking I’m awesome at roasting

 

"Yeah, I probably will. I guess I don't really have much of a place to go right now, and the order is helping people. I can grow with them, before returning, to....my country." I try to keep it vague, hoping he doesn't inquire too much. (yea that tottaly wasn't azura's writing style.)

I ask the guy again ”Where do you come from? I won’t hurt you. If you answer honestly, you’ll be allowed to leave. If not, might as well hand you over to the police.”

Noctua gets the message but decides to talk anyway. "I don't think either of them are okay to be honest," he says with no hint of humor. It appears that Kayla is in a daze looking at the now put out ring of fire and Aquila is trying to talk to her or something. What now?

"I could teleport you two," you hear someone say from behind you. It's James again leaning against the wall. Mr. Hanzo raises an eyebrow but doesn't say a word. What now?

Suddenly, the world seems to slow down and the golden runes on the guy's cloak vibrate. Then they stop . . .

"Oh now I see why you think so highly of yourself," the guy sneers a load of anger raising in his voice. "You're one of those Order SIRIUS scums who think they rule the world and claim to help people yet leave the rest of us all stranded to fend for ourselves. All of you are cowards and jerks and deserve to have everything you love taken away from you. Now leave before I have second thoughts about not killing you," the guy threatens.

The guy sighs muttering, "What got me into this mess," before saying "I'll only spill if you take a vow not to share any of this information I share."

 

OOC: Let's bold everything I copy off of Azura's writing style.

"Well whatever suits you," I respond before asking, "What country do you come from?"

 

"I come from a different realm, to be honest. It was a peaceful land, ruled justly by my father. But anarchy broke out, and the kingdom turned against us. It was clear, they were possessed. In our realm, we had the largest and the strongest royal army in the world, but the people and their number still did pose a struggle. The army is forced to try not to kill the innocent civilians, while they are out for blood. After my father was killed, we thought all hope was lost. I wasn't ready to be king, I wasn't strong enough. My siblings used what power they had to send me here, so I could grow and get stronger. My country will survive, the family and army were strong, but they need a solid and powerful leader to help them. That's probably whyI'mm so impatient. I need to grow in any means possible as quickly as possible"

OOC: Do I hear everything that the other two are talking about?

I walk up to Kayla and look at Aquila.
"Let me see if I can do anything."
I put my hands on Kayla's shoulders and lower myself so that we're face to face. (Nooo... I'm not gonna kiss her... probably. Aquila pls don't D:)
"Hey, Kayla. Luckily Aquila froze that sundae before, right? Let's go back and get it. I'll share. Or you could eat that cake I ordered you. I got one, you got one, Quila got one...You know, I might get Noctua one too. Unless you want his slice?"
If she's still dazed: True Sight her past and then Second Sight her.
If she's no longer dazed: I stand up and give her a pat on the shoulder. "Do you know how to get to the shop from here?"

 

Niko: While you could teleport Zander to his destination, I cannot leave the facility without both prior permission and an escort of sufficient rank.

 

"Well that reminds me of someone I know . . ." I mutter quickly before saying, "I should probably be headed to my uh....place to take care of Cander now." I say that as I'm picking up Cander before realizing, "Wait, we're on an island . . . Uhm, do you know a way back into New York?"

 

Kayla stays dazed so you proceed to use True Sight and Second Sight. You go into True Sight but see something strange. Kayla appears to be wearing that bow and arrow necklace again and the light green light in her body (light green = Good [Role Alignment] and has potential) appears to be much more dull and transparent. The white aura surrounding her evens seems to be much more faded than it was earlier. Then you notice something. The necklace seems to be absorbing some of Kayla's magic as more energy is generated and then evaporating it into dust. It however, doesn't seem to care about the white aura. You also notice a new blue transparent field around Kayla and that also appears to be coming from the necklace due to the necklace itself emitting a small blue light.

(Blue = Undefined)

You then try to use True Sight for history but fail because the blue field seems to solidify (transparent -> nontransparent) everytime you try. After that, you try Second Sight but seem to fail as well getting kicked out by a flash of blue light every attempt. Whatever's going on probably has to do with that necklace.

Aquila then murmurs the words, "He's leaving now." This somehow grabs Kayla's attention and she turns back acknowledging you at first and then looking over at Cuffs (I suppose you know that name) pick up his friend. She then walks over to Cuffs and Tigger who were just conversing and says, "Why did you have to kill them . . . ?" her expression being unreadable.

@MistaTigger sees this too.

Before Tigger has time to respond to your question ( ok i hope im fast enough), one of the girls walk over to you, her expression unreadable. She directs towards you (Cuffs), "Why did you have to kill them . . . ?" and you can assume she means the 7 cloaked guys.

 

I stare at her (this is Kayla right) long and hard before saying, "Have you ever experienced the streets girlie?" I respond with complete seriousness.

OOC: ok the character i chose says girlie a lot, dont blame me lol

She ignores that question and says, "Why did you have to choose such a lethal method? Why couldn't you spare their lives . . . ?"

 

I sigh. Street face on. "On the streets, you'll learn real fast how life is. I've learned the hard way that in any knife fight, only one of the two of you will come out alive. It's no different with magic," I pause. "You're the one who shot those rubber arrows, am I right? Well you're gonna have to learn real soon how to kill because the world is a mean place with all the higher ups stepping over the middle and low class bending the rules to their will and doing whatever they want. Hell I was the streetlord of a gang at your age. Did you think my enemies gave me any mercy? No, and I would say the feeling is mutual with all my enemies. So don't even start asking why I didn't use a less lethal method because I know that leaving my enemies to live will eventually cause me to my death bed. Now you can go scurry off to your parents or the police or something and tell on me because right now, I have to take care of my friend," I end using my head to gesture at Cander whom I'm carrying (iirc).
