I Push through the crowd of people saying "Move! I'm more important that you!" to get a closer look at the asteroid

 

Wow, Aquila is gonna rek you later for all these things you are doing to Kayla lol

Finally! Second sighting Quantum finally works for once! The scenery changes from a street to a half-destroyed Statue of Liberty monument. You (Quantum) appear to be at the base of the Statue of Liberty and seem to be heavily drained. "Oh I'm not letting you spy on me," you (Quantum) mutter to yourself. Then you go black for a second before going back to the street of Gramercy Tavern. You're still leaning on Kayla and see Aquila death glaring at you once again. You then hear a guy yell, "Move! I'm more important than you!" to the group's right. The person appears to be in a black zipper sweater.

Then you hear another familiar voice. "What makes you more important than us!?" Lex challenges the guy in the black zipper. "Right now, we have to worry about the moon going to 12:00 suddenly and all you say is being more important than us!? What is wrong with you m - 8?"

The crowd doesn't appear to hear you but it's still easy to navigate through them. Then you realize the asteroid landed somewhere south out of view. Then . . .

"What makes you more important than us!?" the guy in the black and golden cloak challenges you (verbally not physically). "Right now, we have to worry about the moon going to 12:00 suddenly and all you say is being more important than us!? What is wrong with you m - 8?"

"True," Mr. Hanzo mutters mostly to himself. "I'm going to call Mr. Lopez and see if he knows what happened." Then he goes back inside the security room closing the door. After about 30 seconds, he comes back out, a grave expression in his face. "Apparently, the sun set rapidly and the moon rose rapidly to the midnight postion, 12:00 . . . and an asteroid hit the Statue of Liberty . . ."

"I can just teleport all of us to the area of the asteroid," Mr. Lopez volunteers. "We just need to know where to teleport."

"No need," Dr. Lakrow says exiting the car. "I can already assume that the cause of this is main enemy number one," she says pausing. "and the best target to send a message to us is the Statue of Liberty."

Silence takes over for a couple of seconds. Then Mr. Lopez says, "Alright, I'll teleport us all to the . . . Statue of Liberty . . ." he then looks at Dr. Lakrow. "Are you joining us?"

"Yes, I will join," Dr. Lakrow answers. She then knocks on the driver window of the Audi and the butler rolls down the window. She whispers something into his ear and he drives off avoiding the crowd and police cars / firetrucks.

"Alright, teleporting in 3..2..1," Mr. Lopez summons a Dark Orange Shard and the scenery changes from Bowery Street to Flagpole Plaza where you see a half-destroyed Statue of Liberty slowly crumbling to the ground. Then you see Mr. Lopez pull out his phone. He answers an incoming call and tells the news to who you can assume is a co-worker for his job. After 30 seconds, he ends the call and puts his phone back in his pocket.

"Wow . . . " Cander mutters.

What now?

 

"Aquila, Statue of Liberty. Quantum. Can you get us there?" (I say this quickly and quietly)

If Kayla's like, hugging me or holding onto me to stabilize me: Let's not correct my posture.
If she's just being uncomfortably leaned on by me: I stand back up. "Thanks."

"By the way," I say quickly after, "Quantum's was able to kick me out, when you couldn't. Does that mean something?" (also quickly and quietly)

 

Doctor, Who's the main enemy number 1? What do you plan to do?" I then direct myself to the rest of the group. "Can anyone tell how many people are hurt, and where?"

 

"What the hell just happened?"

 

Aquila responds to your second question first. "He's a hex master," was her simple answer. Then she teleports everyone from Gramercy Tavern to the base of the Statue of Liberty. You see both Quantum and Alexis just a couple yards away. Although he looks heavily drained, he still manages to say cockily, 'Well, did you like the fireworks?"

Suddenly, at lightning speed, both archers (Kayla and Aquila) bring out their bows and shoot contrasting elemental arrows. However, Alexis seems to anticipate this and steps in the way with two axes in an X position soaking up the damage. The arrows explode on contact but Alexis doesn't even seem the least harmed. Then, a faint aurora borealis surrounds the area causing a miniature snowstorm and several meteors from above (magical type that only damage living beings and not inanimate objects)fall from the sky aimed straight at Quantum and Alexis. However, Quantum simply makes a gesture and teleports both of them out of the way to the left of your group.

"You're wasting your energy," Quantum taunts.

No one from your group says anything back (not even Noctua surprisingly) and the tension is high. What now?

"Main enemy number 1 goes by the name of Quantum," Dr. Lakrow says. "If anyone were to be hurt, I would only say the Statue of Liberty at the moment." Suddenly, you hear explosions near the base of the Statue. Then you see several meteors form up in the sky and explode on the ground. "And if I were to assume anything," Dr. Lakrow starts, "It appears that our enemy is fighting somebody right now at the base of the Statue of Liberty."

Chaz only shrugs for he is just as clueless as you as well. He picks up the two fallen sticks and says, "Well I guess we won't be doing this anytime soon, aye?" What now?

 

"I guess so. Well we might be under attack again, so why not try to find the source of the shockwave?"

 

I go nod at Cander and say, "Do you think you can put out the fires caused by the meteors using . . ." I then nod over to the water around us. I'm starting to trust Dr. Lakrow because of the half-destroyed Statue of Liberty.

 

"My knowledge will be the omen of instant tragedy to the magic and normal world. That or it's a weird coincidence but hey the first one sounds cooler let's go with that."
I literally mutter all of that, and yes, I keep watching.

 

I Second Sight Alexis (it lets me know some thought processes, right? xD)
If I am kicked out, I activate True Sight, targeting Quantum and then Alexis, to look into their past.
If that also doesn't work, lets see if I can pull my gun and shoot Alexis somewhere she isn't expecting right when the other two's arrows come. (If I can still move while using Second Sight, I'll do this as well. I wonder how it feels to shoot 'myself' .-.)

 

Niko: Sounds... interesting. Never seen time just suddenly move forward like that. An asteroid, you say?

Niko (directed at the hooded guy): Oy, you know anything bout this?

 

“Dude, No language on earth ever made or will ever be made can show someone as small minded as you how more important I am than you” I laugh thinking I’m smart cuz of that insult

"Alright. Let's go," Chaz says placing back the two pool sticks where they came from. He then bolts out of the game room waiting for you outside (since he assumes you probably can't navigate the complex yet being new).

Alright process of elimination once again

Second Sight Alexis = Kicked out instantly
True Sight History Version = Well you can't see any jack history in their bodies. Quantum is concealing everything like a savage.

(Oh there doesn't appear to be any fire so Cander doesn't step into the river and do that dope magic)
Suddenly, two more people run up both holding uh . . . amulets? that are around their necks.

"More guests?" Quantum says 'excitedly'. "Let's see how long it takes me to kill you." Quantum makes a hand gesture and summons 3 rows of spears. Spear Rain . . . thankfully not True Spear Rain. Both archers again at lightning speed shoot contrasting elemental arrows and once again Alexis intercepts. However, this time you pull out your gun and shoot but Quantum teleports both of them out of the way before any damage could be done. Thankfully, this also causes his spear rain to dissipate. Alexis then starts charging in to occupy the two girls. Noctua interrupts though summoning a white scythe (basically Archangel lmao) and slashing the air sending a powerful gust of wind. Alexis is forced to do the overused X position once again to not get pushed all the way back into the river.

Then, you see a purple blazing meteor from the sky (definitely not Kayla's now lmao) aimed straight at your group. Aquila counters this though by causing a major snowstorm for a couple of seconds completely dissipating Quantum's purple meteor. Then, one of the amulet dudes (Cander) steps into the battle doing a gesture summoning a fireball at Quantum. However, he counters with his own fireball and yeah.

"Alright, this just got interesting I have to admit," Quantum says casually.

Wat now?

"No . . ." the man answers. "No one in Fate is strong enough to do something like that . . ."

"Have you ever heard of the story of Narcissus?" the guy counters.

The TV breaks

The news strays off the topic of the Statue of Liberty being destroyed and goes into politics, such as illegal immigration, terrorists, etc. Seems that's over now.

 

While he's saying that, I do the stupidest move possible (don't worry I have a plan) and create a ring of wizard fire surrounding the area. Then I summon jets of fire at Quantum himself and wherever he goes as long as the jets of flame cannot hit someone other than Quantum or Alexis.

 

OOC: I dunno what to say right now, but don't wanna get outta the loop. Also, what happened with arch and the doctor and lopez and me? im highkey confuzzled.

So basically Cuffs and Cander went ahead to fight Quantum at the base of the Statue of Liberty. You, Dr. Lakrow, and Mr. Lopez are still at Flagpole Plaza or whatnot

Second Sight to get thought processes, see if they want to do any harm. True Sight to look into past, to gauge personality and what they would most likely do.
5) Call Dr. Lakrow and report the situation (big fight, who's there, where, what happened)

OOC: The M.S.S.A should hire Quantum to stop me from looking at places I'm not supposed to. Or do lead plates work? Also, I just realized something. Do I know how they know that I was Second Sighting them?

 

Niko (to Hanzo): Well, this looks like something I might want a look at. Could I have permission to go check out the place, I mean, I assume someone qualified to supervise should be already there.

Im beginning to realize how bad this plan I thought of was. I just realized how deep the water could be, how much energy it would take Cander to put out the fire, who’s gonna teleport us all out, ... yeah i messed up.
