"I don't think Chipotle's open at this time, so how about tomorrow?" I ask, rubbing my eyelids.

 

There's no evidence at all that your fight with Cornix happened... not even the earth that was supposedly removed from the ground to attack you is there.

The battle is more of two people saying "No u" rather than this guy kidnapping a girl.

Legit tho, they both have magenta floating Necronomicon things that are making magenta barriers.

The guy keeps destroying the girl's shield and sending fireworks and some weird fire projectiles and shooting (somehow missing) his gun while the girl always reestablishes her shield or makes the projectiles turn back around back to the guy.

And although the girl is against the wall, with the guy a couple yards off, there isn't much of a struggle.

You also notice a bluejay who seems to have a blue magic aura and blue light in their body. They fly around the scene before landing on a nearby tree to watch this "fight".

A crow from out of nowhere also lands in front of you on the ground and simply stares at you.

What now?

Kek.

P sure that means @Eirika & Ephraim can hear your scream in the distance then.

You can hear the faint screams of someone in the distance.

The fourth crow maintains its stare at you while the third crow stares at the direction of where the scream came from. The rest still look at Arya.

What now?

The birds somehow seem to realize you give up before all of them get off you and Lex and get back in their single file line staring expectantly at you.

Lex gets friendzoned xdddd

Lex makes no comment on what just happened.

All six of them seem to... nod their heads...

The first crow Caw Caw's in your face while the rest stop arguing.

They all start staring at you again.

I try to get cross eyed and stare at all of them as well.

 

"Want to go steal a car with me?"

 

You only manage to stay cross eyed for three seconds but that's still hella impressive.

The crows don't seem to care though.

The fourth then suddenly flies at you grabbing hold of your uh.... (I can't think of a term) shrink rayed spear and fly back to their spot.

It's now in their beak somehow... glowing too.

What now?

The fourth crow Caw Caw's hella loudly at you.

Probably meant no.

"Can I leave?"

 

I put a hand on my forehead, rubbing it and sighing deeply. "Greeeeeat."
I make no movement to take the spear back.

 

They all Caw Caw at you.

Probably also means no.

The fourth crow then flies away to another part of your broken store behind some pieces of rubble out of view.

The rest of the crows to the left of the fourth crow look at you expectantly while the ones to the right look at where the fourth crow went.

They stare back at you before the second crow seems to make a gesture with it's beak towards the spear.

What now?

 

"So.. should we just get away from here?"

 

Definitely did not try and cross my eyes for ten seconds after reading this.

“Stay here.” Althea glances back one last time before heading in the direction of the scream.

 

"You want me to follow?"

 

I brush my forehead again. "Please don't eat the spear..."

Before Lex can respond, all the crows Caw Caw loudly to get your attention.

The fourth crow then flies up and behind you before landing on some little outpost thing and looks back at you and Lex.

The rest of the crows stare at you expectantly.

I can't even go cross eyed for a second bruh.

But I'm not far nor near sighted get rekt.

All six of the crows are suddenly on top of you pecking and Caw Cawing annoyingly at you. Arya tries to help muttering the words, "Ha-tep" but as soon as the Egyptian Hieroglyph appears over you and the crows midair, one of the crows screeches insanely loudly and the hieroglyph vibrates and evaporates not doing anything.

What now?

The two crows looking at you nod their heads.

The third crow Caw Caw's in your face before the fourth crow flies back into the building with your spear. The rest of the crows look at you expectantly.

Do I know Cornix = Crow?

 

Probs not. You've only heard of Cornix just today (rp wise) from Aquila and I doubt your character knows Latin or bothers to put Cornix in Google Translate so meh.
