Thomas uses his fire to jet into the air, jumping over the roots and maybe staying airborne for a while.

 

Nope, it's not out. Just stars.

"Do you want to know what happens when I drop these knives on the ground? I think you should consider handing it over now."

"People don't even know much about me. But you're right about one thing, a lot of angels see me as rude."

The knife disappears.

Instead, the flame brightens and finally the darkness of the room is gone... however, the flame reveals a shit load of black roots all over the building surrounding you. The figure is nowhere to be seen.

"Drop the shard now and I'll let you leave."

The shard breaks into glass...

"The actual shard I'm talking about please."

Okay, the roots start to fly up towards you now... Wot now?

 

I throw another bomb at him

 

I make a cross at the flame. "There is only one angel I believe in, and it is Gabriel. I doubt that's your name." I begin mumbling something under my breath.

A ring of black electricity suddenly surrounds the man.

"Hurry up and hand it over before you're struck by lightning."

"Not even close to my name," the figure says. The roots start to close in on you.

A single crow flutters through the roots and lands on a little piece of furniture.

"Crows symbolize death. I believe your time has come."

The bullet goes straight through the figure doing nothing.

The first figure then summons in a battle staff.

"I'd recommend handing them over now."

What now?

 

I try to outrun them. See how far they can go.

 

"Oh to hell with your crow and shenanigans, I'm trying to pray here, will yah?" I yell at anything. "Ave maria, cheia de graça, o Senhor é convosco, benditas ações vossas entre as mulheres, bendito é o fruto do vosso ventre Jesus. Santa Maria mãe de Deus, roguai por nós pecadores, agora e na hora de nossa morte, Amém".

 

Well there's only a few arrows that Kayla takes a while in enchanting and the longest one is that arrow I mentioned in the convo that knocks her completely unconscious.

Idk if you would know that though.

"No, it does something much worse."

He drops the knife in his right hand and it buries itself in the ground.

Suddenly, it shimmers and a giant grey laser beam from out of nowhere comes in your direction.

I gust him to make him move and then shoot a light red

 

“Pfft. That is not worse.” I dash out of the way.

 

"Hello?"
Focus on reading the trajectory of the shot to dodge it.

 

Well they actually seem to slow down.... uh and they're keeping up with your pace.

"I'm just toying with you kid."

Suddenly, a crow from the sky comes down and thrusts it's claws at your face.

"Alright. Good luck."

The flame catches fire onto the roots... and spreads throughout all the roots. Suddenly, the whole room is caught on fire with the crow simply staring at you.

What now?

Gust doesn't move him back and the light red shard doesn't do anything.

"Please use more effective moves next time."

The ring of electricity is much stronger now.

A bluejay flies nearby and the figure turns to look straight up at it... seeming to scare it away... The bluejay lands on a nearby tree to watch.

The other knives shimmers and turns back into a Scythe.

"Give up already."

The figure than disappears and reappears next to you bringing down the Scythe hard.

What now?

No response.

The dude is still spending time enchanting the arrow.

Three identical hexagonal yellow rings surround the two figures and electrocute/shock them.
"I don't think we plan on doing that anytime soon," Yazu replies.

I again dive to the side, releasing whatever light I still have in his face as soon as I’m past the scythe’s downward stroke.

He falls down, as he's losing his focus.
He tries to grab it, and as soon as he does, ignite it.
