A Modern Day Fantasy Rp [6/10]

Niko (to Blue): I'm going to try something real quick, so be ready for any... sudden changes.

I'll then use the blue/yellow shard, targeting the hooded figure. Afterwards, I'll attempt to restrain him from escaping.

OOC: Well, these new entries seem... interesting. Let's see how they interact with the rest of the story so far. Also, I don't believe I have a problem with it @Azura.

If he answers 2+ years: "And we never thought shardic mages could cast invisibility." I sigh. "I'm going to bring this up with the higher ups later."
If he answers 1- years: "Huh. I'm going to talk with the higher ups later."

Edit: I want to say it's "revealed himself as the mayor/dictator" but I'm not sure where that comes from... Town of Salem? (shh... I never played it)

OOC: Running the Security system. The guards, camera, etc. I realize I was part of the group when I was 12(?) so I should know this but let's treat myself as forgetful. xD

 

"About 9ish years," Mr. Hanzo responds. "We haven't really needed to worry about invasions being that Dr. Lakrow completely keeps the location of the base secret to everyone, unlike the other Orders."

"And we never thought shardaic mages could cast invisibility." you sigh. "I'm going to bring this up with the higher ups later."

You then hear some exploding. The roof shakes a little bit. Mr. Hanzo curses before checking the security cameras. Apparently, the only broken ones are in the training room so that's probably where the exploding took place. What now?

 

Let's take out the communications device again... xD

I use true sight to look over at the training room.

You then use true sight to look over at the training room. It's practically destroyed with burst out lockers, crumbling walls, etc. The hooded figure is just about to leave back through the vent he came in when suddenly, Arya appears in the training room and casts a spell. The guy's legs seem to freeze in place and they can't move all too well in their rooted position. Arya then casts another spell, with a hieroglyph appearing this time and all of the damage repairs itself until everything is back to normal. However, you hear another explosion in the distance. You hear Mr. Hanzo curse again and then say, "The kitchen area! No cameras are working there!" What now?

 

OOC: Rip Niko's extra arms. Ey, go beat him up with your lack of arms!

OOC: "Quick activate the backup cameras!"
OOC: "The backups?"
OOC: "Yes!"
OOC: "On it!"
OOC: Tim's eyes start glowing bright with light. >.<

Let's turn to look at the kitchen (still using True Sight. Maybe I'll finally have a reason to use my Eye Drops x10). I'll say anything important/out of place that I see to Hanzo.

 

So uh, basically, the guy that was knocked unconscious is now conscious again and managed to cause an explosion using the stuff in the kitchen since his pouch of rocks were taken away. He is now crawling back into the vent that he used to come inside the kitchen. Oh yeah, I should also mention the kitchen is on fire and you can assume that's a REALLY bad thing. You report all of this to Mr. Hanzo who replies, "I can conjure a surprise for the guy if he stays there for 5 minutes, only if he stays in that area of the vents. Tell Arya to try and repair the mess in the kitchen too."

 

"Okay."
Lets go back to the convo... tablet... thing.
EyeOfOdin: Hey! Another explosion.
EyeOfOdin: Kitchen.
EyeOfOdin: Arya, Hanzo's asking if you can keep the dude there/repair
EyeOfOdin: He got a suprise in store

As hes saying that I pop another light green this time on myself and as he summons the shard I probably recognize whayt niko is doing since I also know this shard and prep a shotgun on where Niko is currently standing and wait for them to switch places

 

Works pretty well. Niko switches places with the hooded guy and the hooded guy gets blasted by a Reprisal Pyrobolum shard. The guy yelps in pain before falling to the ground unconscious. What now?

"It's already set up," Mr. Hanzo says. "I could indeed activate it right now but it wouldn't be that effective. Five minutes should give me enough time."

 

"Aww, darn. Tell me when you're activating it."
I kick back in a chair and check the group chat.

 

Some Forgettable ASDF Movie Guy: "I'm gonna do an internet!"
Yeah I'm actually going to check the news for something that even has vague connotations of magic coverup.

 

I desummon the light greens and just sit down breathing heavily

 

Ok the news is actually trash. Apparently, some bank got bombed with cloaked figures running out of it with papers but they couldn't describe how the whole gang got freaking knocked out unconscious down the road. They also couldn't describe how the whole gang managed to escape from police custody a couple hours later. You switch channels and then something catches your eye . . . Apparently, just yesterday, the moon suddenly accelerated to midnight status when the clock reached 7:00 and an asteroid from space destroyed the Statue of Liberty. How could you have missed this? What the heck just happened here? Was this just fake news?

Basically when the clock hit 7:00, the moon suddenly rushed really fast to midnight status (aka the Earth rotated really fast to midnight status) and an asteroid hit the Statue of Liberty. This changed all clocks to 12:00. And you somehow missed this.

AncientOne: okay I trapped the guy in the vents
InsertCreativeNameHere: I dealt with the one in the Boy's Dormitory Rooms
TheDJMechanic: So the kitchen one, the boy's dorm one, and the training room one are all stuck and dealt with. We just have the jail area one and the girl's dorm one.
AncientOne: I'm a little tired after using so many divine words and spells. Can someone else deal with the other two?

Lets check the jail again. True Sight ftw! (The jail is the one Niko and Xander dealt with right? Here is my response [assuming I see what you sent them])

OOC: Actually, you didn't mention Chad in the recent posts... He still with the other two? If not, do below.

Scan around (excessive use of True Sight) for the person who was with the person with red magic (Chad).

If he is: Scan the girl's dorms (I'm not peeking, I swear!)

Im on mobile. But nah, it’s nothing close to Majora’s Mask. You can probably figure out how this was caused though if you look back at some magic files I posted about some escapee.
