How many people are there? And where are they in relation to me?

 

There are 5 people in the room minus you and Zach.

Zander melted one dude.

James, Ken, and an Amzaedus magic user are at one end of the room (the end near the entrance to the infirmary) and Zander and a Shardaic Mage are on the other end.

Obviously, since you just entered, Zander is far away and James and Ken are near you.

 

Who seems to be dying? xD
Or at least in enough of a bind to start dying. >.>

And the Amzaedus user is holding their own with their stupid barriers.

Okay here's more info.

I believe Kayla was 6 at the time she encountered Ragent.

She met Arya at age 5.

How tf did you know?

Well like, they are in a corner making a "fort" Jay would say and the barrier is completely surrounding them like a transparent wall.

Just search up "Stranger Things Hallway Scene" and you should find some pretty good examples as to what you're in.

Here's one.

You jump through one of the holes and find yourself in the hallway. Look back into the training room, it is pitch black despite that there are a lot of glowing yellow floating sparks in the hallway. Ragent walks back through the door out of the training room and into the hallway. Black roots from the other end of the hallway behind Ragent start to form and creep slowly towards him and you.

"Is that all?"

 

“I mean yeah.” I take off down the hallway in the opposite direction. “Did you expect a speech?” I periodically fire burning flashes of light behind me as I’m running. “I would like to thank my mom and dad... oh, wait.”

 

Well Ragent created a singular flame which me, Tisaun, and Tsu know that Kayla does when she's going to say something deep.
Ragent also said the flame reminds him about the girl and Kayla is a fire elementalist.
And you said she was friends with the Ancient One (Arya) and had a Guardian Angel (Aquila) which Kayla had as like "Guardians" after her parents were killed so it was obvious.

 

The roots engulf Ragent and your blasts of light seem to do nothing against them.

You then take a turn only to find Ragent and another batch of black roots standing there. You turn back around to check on the roots chasing you only to find that they're gone.

"Well, personally, I find it normal for people who give speeches as they die." Ragent tosses and catches his knife, some blood dripping on the floor. "But I suppose you're the exception."

The roots dash forward again.

 

Even I got it, and I'm dense. .-.

Shoot it anyways. Unless it's been proven that barriers block bullets. In which case, shoot the one confronting Xander in the knee(right) and crotch,

“Always have been, friendarino.” I take off the other way again. While running, I look for ways out of this godforsaken place- Anything that looks or feels off.

 

You proceed to shoot the Shardaic Mage in the crotch. He however notices your and Zach's entry and summons a Body Shield Shard before you shoot causing the bullet to ricochet into the floor.

Wot now?

 

Fvcking barriers everywhere.
I sigh.
SS the one that had the barrier in the beginning. If that fails, SS the second one.

 

There doesn't seem to be an escape... yet.

As the roots are about to mow you down, a maniacal laugh fills the air and they stop, evaporating into nothing. Ragent appears in front of you in a heap of smoke.

He flips his knife.

"You see, people always take me as the person who instantly kills their target and leaving their corpse. However, no one realizes that I hate quick and fast deaths. Torture is always fun. No one knows this because of how I always kill my targets in another reality. So you have a lot of time to make your speech." Blood from the ceiling drips on you.

What now?

Neither work.

Fing talismans.

What now?

 

“You know my edgy dude, my edgy buddy, my edgy pal...” I turn and run again. “I love torture as much as the next girl, but I think I’ll pass.”

 

Attempt control through eye contact. xD

 

You turn the hallway only to find Ragent there again... this time putting a hand on your right shoulder making a firm grip and sinking his dagger into your gut using his right hand.

A single floating flame illuminates in between Ragent and you.

"Are you gonna consider making that speech now?"

Nada.
