Have the knives fly at her as if it was a last-effort kind of thing before decapitation.

Oddly, all the knives barely miss her as she 'decapitates' you. Must be some wind magic or whatever.

It's in the opposite direction of where you are facing.

 

I guess if she goes to leave/turns her back, have the knives fly off the floor at her again.

I'll stand up,"reassemble" my body, then draw my sword and hold a defensive stance. Have the knives that missed circle around me.

Niko: "Seems a bit rude to cut the head off of someone you've just met. I assume Lakrow's your target then?"

If she tries to leave after that, either attempt to cut off her escape with floaty knives or myself, whichever's faster.

 

She seems to hear the knives come, turns around and uh . . . swats them all off with her knife.

"What the..." her expression is surprised now.

"How did you..." she stops. "...What are you . . . ?" she demands.

 

Niko: "Just a training dummy who's had enough of being beaten around."

I'll move forwards and take a few swipes at her to see how she deals with it, if at all.

 

She simply dodges your first swipe and backflips away from you dodging some of your other swipes. Her expression is unreadable but it seems she has figured out she can't kill you by now...

 

I'm assuming all three of them block my SS somehow. I turn in a circle, to see the rest of the base (also, look up, cause no one ever looks up). Call Lakrow as well.

 

So there also appears to be a fight in the training room...

Niko is fighting this kinda short teenager at 5 ft 6 in...

Oh and looking up gets you a nice view of the ground.

What now?

Random thought: Do I recognize where I'm under?
Also, how did the call to Lakrow go?

 

She doesn't respond.

"How should I know?!"

Thomas releases a barrage of fire bullets at the ice user.

 

"Numa Testamenta!" the 'ice user' yells. Suddenly, a floating book appears in front of the trio creating a barrier ish type of thing blocking every attack sent at them. The fire user stops sending their flamethrower and watches as you guys fail to break the barrier.

A little green aura surrounds the Amzaedus user (the 'ice user') and the fire user (the one with the gun) simply says, "Let us take what we want and everyone will come out unharmed... well except for him," he gestures over to Chaz who's hand is still bleeding from the gunshot. He cocks his gun.

The barrier still stays strong in between you guys.

What now?

"Snacks anyone?" Naomi asks grabbing out a bag of chips. Leo Shu leaves you to answer.

 

"What are you searching for?!"

He holds his guns aimed at the barrier and at the people behind it.

"A prized possession by the Amzaedus," the third guy says (the 'ice user'). His voice is more stern and deep. "The Amulet of Divination is what we've come here to search for. We are well aware that you lot have it in this area of the complex."

 

"Yeah, thank you." I say without looking at her, frowning at the game.

Leo Shu mutters in a sing-song-ish manner while smiling, "Knights on the rim are dim..."

Naomi grabs a bowl from one of the cabinets and pours out some of the chips into the bowl. She then places the bowl next to the chess board and then retires back onto the couch and turns on the TV.
