A Dump Of My Strange Weapon Ideas

I've been having a bit of a problem coming up with suitable weapons for my new Classes. Not so much because they're particularly hard to come up with, but more so because I just don't know what could legitimately fit in, given that I don't know much of the lore. You can fill out the poll if you want to, after you read up on the ideas and concepts behind them.

The Cannon
A very straightforward Weapon, being an equally simple piece of artillery. Use Right Click to fire a cannonball which travels a fair distance.

The Laser
The Weapon is less of a Weapon and more of a main 'melee' attack in general. The Laser would be fired from a (insert appropriate Weapon idea here), and would have a constant range. It would deal a set amount of damage three times per second, but could overheat after using it in a burst for long enough, preventing you from attacking or casting Spells until it's cooled down. The overheat could be prevented by simply not firing, as it cools down when not firing. This cooling down - and the amount of time you could fire the Laser for before it overheated - would take a set amount of time dependent on your Attack Speed, Super Fast having no overheat or cool down, and Super Slow lasting about 2 seconds, and needing to cool over 3 seconds of time.

The Slings
The Slings are a family of miscellaneous crap slapped and crafted together like a dysfunctional equipment sandwich, the bottom line being that they shoot stuff very far. Right click to fire a projectile which flies even further than arrows. Has range on par with the Archer's Bow, but does significantly less damage due to being literally scrapped together. Would do more damage the closer you were to the target, ranging from 100% at 5 blocks away to 10% at 40 blocks away.

The Sword
I can already hear people groaning at this one...We have Daggers, Spears, and Hammers in the game already, where's the Swords? To no one's surprise, it would be a melee attack, but it would hit a wider area in front of it than the Dagger or the Spear, with slightly lesser damage and a reach in between the two to compensate.

 

Wynncraft fitted into medieval fantasy world, with the exceptions of Corkus and airships.

You can try to come up with necromancer/summoner class, but prepare for being ejected just because of it being necromancer

 

Okay, I can see why that's the case.
It is technically less of a question of what is in Wynncraft and more of a question about what if it was in Wynncraft.

I'm a fool to be hoping for and making new Classes, but I am not so foolish as to touch upon the hot mess that is the Summoners and Necromancers section of Class suggestions.
In the short time I spent playing Hypixel Skyblock, Necromancy was absolutely OP, and I'm not gonna ask that hot garbage can to be in Wynncraft.

 

Your suggestion were amazingly done, and raised the average by a LOT. The fact they didn't fit is another thing. You got the idea and made it detailed.

You are intelligent, maybe too much...

The main problem is actually a question: "Do you trust Wynncraft's AI? If yes, do Canyon Guides 100 times and ask again."

But are people seriously THAT lazy about Class Ideas to add to Wynncraft?

 

Yes. Most of the ones are either 1-3 semtences suggestions or really thought out ones. Guess which ones are more common...

 

The sword would not work because the rainbow skin for daggers is a sword so it would make no sense
I would also complain about lasers being too advanced for Wynncraft but i think i remember them being used somewhere

 

I mean fallen factory uses railguns.

 

Corkus =/= all of wynn. There are a few class idea that would work if all of wynn was as advanced as corkus, but the most of wynn is still very medieval (not including airships)

 

Maybe the chain of Magma Cubes shot by the Eye (aka the Laser)?

 

I understand that the daggers likely also include swords of some kind, but remember...
...This is technically an RPG which considers Hammers to be Spears. Are swords that much more outlandish, in comparison?
