    You walk along side the caravan and knock on the side of it. The caravan slowly comes to a halt as a trader gets off and shakes his legs, before walking around to you. He looks you up and down before opening his mouth;
"Im on a tight schedule here lad! What do you want?"
You walk north-west as long as you can still see the bushes, and then use the stars overhead to direct you. You feel completely lost, the sudden cold of the wastelands bearing down on you, and are just about to give up and lay down just where you are standing when suddenly you trip over some twigs and land in the middle of a dried up bush.
You stand up slowly again, arms outstretched trying to maintain your balance in the complete darkness, which was only sometimes penetrated by the shine of the moon or the stars when the clouds broke a moment. You regain your balance, upright. To your right your arm just touches another dead bush, and a few twigs are resting against your left shin...
The guard smiles and eyes you and your master quickly before waving you on and asking the next traveler about their business. You let out a barely audible sigh as you set out along the route to Hawaha.
A few horse drawn carts pass you, usually full to the brim with cloths. It seems there must be some expensive feast going on in the fort and the king was trying to make it look as good as possible for the lords. Not like he had to impress them for their obedience - nevertheless it was a kings duty to hold feasts then and again, to give the lords somewhere to meet potential wives, or to discuss manners of the Kingdom without having to hold any sort of official meeting.
You make it about halfway to hawaha, not quite as far as the crossing yet. Your master suggests you camp down for the night, and you spot a few tents in the distance, with a small fire going. Your master seems to be nervous to go there, complete strangers might be dangerous... you weight up the pros and cons...
I cant really advance your storyline any further seeing as it is dependent on the storyline of your sister - who hasn't replied yet. As soon as she has i can start to advance yours again as well - as long as it fits in alright. Maybe you can tell her to remind me about you as well when she does comment :D
The walls of the cell are made of cold stones, laid unevenly yet solid, some stones sticking out a few inches from the wall. You feel along part of the wall, it is moist and on one of the jutting ends you feel something sticky, caked blo- You quickly dismiss the image of someone hitting their head on this stone.
The front and left part of the cell was made of metal bars. Some of them were slightly bent, maybe someone tried to escape once. The doors, also purely metal bars, were held closed by a simple lock.
Meanwhile you inmate had begun looking for something on the floor of the cell, at least so you assumed by the sounds of scratching you could hear from the neighbor cell - you couldn't see much now that the guard had closed the door and the only light was coming in through the small slit above it.
You jump out of your hiding place and sprint off into the forest, leaving the clashing of swords and shouts behind you as the calmness of the forest slowly blocked out the sounds of battle behind you.
You stop eventually as your legs slowly fail you, and you check behind yourself for the first time - no one in sight. The trees above cast a greenish shadow on your face as you sit down leaning against a trunk and lean your head back, panting hard from the sprint.

Basically, you fill out the application form. Then Francis puts you in a random place on the map, though it may be slightly related to the lore you give. Then Francis gives you some info about the place you are in and then your current situation. You then act on your current situation. The aim of the game is two things. First, to not die due to your decisions. If you die, you can't come back. Second, complete your goal. This can be anything; to kill the King, to become a master of an art or to find your parents. The possibilities are endless.

You stare hard into the darkness trying to force your eyes to adapt to the missing light, and as a cloud above parts slightly you take in four relatively small bushes gathered close together, and a further a few steps away before the starlight fades and leaves you in pitch black once more.
You wait a few more moments for another break in the clouds, yet there is none and you resort to your sense of touch to get yourself an further idea of your surroundings. You seem to be standing facing the group of four bushes, the first two both close to your left and right foot respectively. The other two must be just behind them - you remember from your quick glimpse that they are arranged in a sort of square. The other separate bush should be a few feet behind them, and slightly to the right.
"Well it is usual custom to use a form of currency to purchase a quick bite to eat but-" he looks judgingly at your slightly sooty clothes "I don't presume you have the means to do such a thing".
He sighs audibly and sticks his hand into the bag he is carrying with him.
"Ill tell ya what lad, I can give you a smoked sausage and-" he scratches his chin, "and half a loaf of bread if you deliver this letter for me".
He hands you a squashed envelope - there's no name on it but an address, some house in gul daran - the village just north of sword lake.
You overcome your initial distaste at the caked blood on the stones and start fumbling along the wall. Despite the inefficient and - quite frankly - amateur way the bricks have been laid there seems to be no weakness, not a single loose stone along the wall. You keep fumbling until you come across the stone you had come in contact previously, the one with the blood on its tip, probably from someone being thrust into the cell a little too brutally. It seems to wobble slightly. Maybe the force of the previous impact had loosened it a little.
In your neighbour's cell the scratching increased in intensity - and then suddenly fell silent all together. You squint into the darkness and you think you see the woman move and stand up, but you cant really be sure. A few shuffles are heard, a metallic ringing and a swear - then silence.
You stop just short of what you perceive to be the range in which the campers could see you and eye them closely. They were sitting in groups of twos and threes around the fire, one of them seemed to be cooking something on it and the smell of slightly overcooked pork wafts your way.
Some of them seem to be talking, a sudden sharp laugh can be heard as one of them trips up on one of the tent lines just before entering it. Just before the tent flap closes behind him you see a flash of silver - but before you manage to see what it is the darkness of the tent engulfs him. Another two trail off into another tent.
Accepted! You have been placed in the eastern woodlands ( http://prntscr.com/9uozd4 ).
    Geographical Lore:
A light forest along the eastern border or Sariel, these woodlands offer timber for the nearby villages, as well as enough wildlife to hunt. The woods north and south of the trade road were once the same large forest, before a king decided the path must be cleared. Since then, both villagers and the army have been using the road to deliver the timber they cut down from either side of the road, driving the two woods ever further apart. Due to the increased logging, this trade road is still relatively busy, and is often used for trading with a town that - despite being outside the borders of Sariel - still sees itself loyal to the land... or maybe its just that they dont have many trees on the other side of the border and therefore exploit the low timber costs. Either way; a trade route between Sariel and Berckems exists.
    RP:
You stay in the woods most of the time, away from the loggers. You and a few rebels have set up camp here, nothing too cosy but good enough to stay every night. The soldier that recruited you only rarely stays, he is often away supporting other rebel groups, and comes back only to collect information or goods to bring to the commander. You asked him once where this commander is - and who he is, but the soldier had shaken his head and told you that the less people knew, the less they could say if ever captured.
The time you are not in your hideout you are usually doing small errands. A friendly blacksmith in Frenda produces swords you have to collect once a week, a rebel baker in a village just outside often gives you a basket full of bread on the way back. Sometimes the soldier tells you to check out a patrol group in the area, to see their numbers and equipment, or where they were heading. However you have never participated in an actual caravan raid or a battle and sometimes you wonder how much help you really are.
You wake up with the familiar smell of wet forest around you and you crawl out of the cave you and your party use as a sleeping place. The only one currently outside is the morning watch, who gives a short wave at you as you emerge from the hollow. You yawn once and pick up a bag that is leaning against a tree trunk. Time to pick up some swords.
You do your best using the sun as your compass out of the woods - and soon after you emerge, quite a bit further south than you had expected but not too far away.
Instead of traveling north straight to the main road you walk north-east, trying to cover as much ground to the east despite trying to reach the road as well. You pass a small village to your southeast, somehow nervous of being seen despite there being no reason for your fear. Soon the main road is just in sight to your left. You look over left while walking, careful not to get too close to the road but still following it, when you trip suddenly and fall face first into a small trickle of water. Your knee stings a little.
Depending on how much you enjoyed your first character and how much I enjoyed replying to your first character ill allow a second (or third for that matter). However I don't want you to go on and sacrifice yourself again and again with the reason that you can just make a new one.

    Minecraft:
    Name: Meisner Michen

    Gender: Male

Age (Note that any very young or old age may limit rp): 25

General Appearance (picture or photo accepted): Nice big beard, bald, big and strong. Kind of the bald dwarf in the Hobbit trilogy. Wearing about the same thing. Except the big sword and axe...

Parent Jobs (Choose 2 – Whether any parent is alive or dead will be randomly assigned): Noble/ Veteran fighter/ Regular Soldier/ Nurse/ Merchant/ Caravan Driver/ Farmer/ Nomad/ Woodcutter/ Blacksmith/ Cook/ Miner/ Hunter/ Fisher/ Outlaw/ Peasant/ unknown /none (You were an orphan): Father works out in the country so he does woodcutting, farming and hunting, etc... and mother is nurse.

    Jobs in your early life: Privileged Noble’s Child/ Squire/ Lady-in-waiting/ Goods Peddler/ Apprentice/ Assistant/ Street Lurker/ Nomad Child/ Poacher/ None: Goods peddler (before the age 14)

    Current Job: Privileged Noble’s Child/ Squire/ Lady-in-waiting/ Student/ Goods Peddler/ Apprentice/ Assistant/ Street Lurker/ Nomad Child/ Poacher/ None: None

Quick Backstory (e.g: How comes both your parents were nobles but you still became a nomad child?): I was just an ordinary boy living in a poor family in a farm. I was mostly raised by my father so I learned some nice tricks from him. I also learnt some basic nursing from my mother which was murdered by a hooded man when I was 14. Everyone said she died of natural causes but I saw it with my own eyes, but nobody believes me.

Goals in life (note that these goals can change. Please don’t be too specific. Use some Logic E.g. “Be king” with Jobs saying something like Peasant/Peasant/Poacher is probably not going to be accepted – but may still happen during the rp): I want to find the man who murdered my mother. Even if I have to kill, torture, or steal. (Basically I'm like Rambo but evil).

Any other things you want to mention: I hope this was worth it.
