Matryoshka only provides ~100 in each defense powdered I believe, it's more about how being able to have just as much HP, high element defense from other stuff, and easily recuperating (if regen timer wasn't affected by getting hit) that would make it op.

Though that's what they want to happen, Warrior would need some serious rebalancing if it does
Being fully immune to damage with just +13 defense from items is pretty damn stupid

even if it did not rest, 1k regen/5 seconds=200 regen/second
if there is a build where you can't do more then 200 DPS to a person you have bigger problems then OP regen

Element defense and 115+ Defense makes it so most damage is reduced, especially if people use Faster weapons.

let us say you hit use a 1k DPS normal weapon that hits 2 times per second, now with the base of 500 damage let us say you have x2.5 times the damage, and you are hitting something with 1k element defense. 1,250-1000=250, then 1/2 from 50% agility would mean 125 DPS.
Like I said if a build is having troble with dealing 200 DPS, then you have bigger problems.
now lets say the update happened and now defense works on elemental damage and does not grant invinsibility, element defense is effected by your Attack Speed, and regen does not reset.
    (1,250(Damage)-500(Elemental Defense))/6(Defense/Agility)=750/6=125 DPS
I did not expect that result but still it shows that there is bigger things to worry about then Regen not reseting after getting hit.

But lets say you are casting a spell like spin attack at the rate of 2 times per second
Now you are dealing x4 that DPS so you get around 500 DPS- 200 RPS(regen per second)=300 DPS through all that tankyness, all on a 11k HP target that is slow
Also if you factor in melee damage you would get 375 DPS in total
However I said Defense does not make you invincible anymore so they would be weak against neutral damage. lets you had 2400 DPS in only neutral damage that would spit out about 800DPS-200RPS=600 DPS in total

I guess it could work as a build for situational pve stuff or guild wars. But i'd recommend for the guy to use soulflare (Depends on if the int really affects that much.) or hetusol for more regen and stuff.
