Since heavy melee assassin got nerfed to the ground by 2.0 changes, Archer is now the best class for melee builds. I often see juju nons doing TNA with Anthracite Ballistas doing up to 200k melee (unsustainable however), it is impossible to gain focus in TNA resulting in them dealing no damage. Even Epoch is a bad melee weapon as it only have 30% more damage than Anthracite.

So here, I made a heavy melee build using the forgotten fire bow Plague. Using 7 focus, and Twain's Arc, Quake, and Chain Lightning to deal damage. It is recommended to keep 2 Plagues in your inventory while using this build, as Quake and Chain Lightning can both be useful in different situations.

Lets look at stats on Wynnbuilder. First, Twain's Arc does a base of 84k unboosted damage. With max focus it does 230k damage. And because heavy melee does not attack often, Initiator triggers almost all the times when using Twain and Power Specials, this damage gets boosted to an astonishing 370k, and with a help of a little bit of Rage health lose, this damage gets boosted further to 420k! With only Twain's Arc, I can consistently 2 tap every phase of The Eye, and one - two tap all LI bosses.

Now look at the powder specials, there are two that we are gonna use, Quake and Chain Lightning, so you will need two separate Plague bows to use it. With heavy melee, charging powder is very fast, meaning you can spam it a lot.

Quake does 160k damage unboosted, which gets boosted further by Focus, making it 430k, and finally, Initiator boosts it to a wopping 690k damage! Which matches very well with Twain's Arc's 420k Damage (Im not lying just look at Wynnbuilder).

Chain Lightning (with thunder powder on the build), does a base of 120k damage, with Focus it does 320k, and with Initiator it does 520k.

I personally use Quake in boss fights like LI to one tap things, and Chain Lightning in dungeon rooms/raids for clearing. Twain's Arc is most important for charging up powder specials and dealing damage from a stupidly long range away, such as when I used this build in TNA, I never needed to get close to the boss because I just snipe it from 60 blocks away.

Rounding it up, I think this build is definitely viable and powerful and all Wynncraft content, but something like Divzer Spellspam would deal more damage. This Heavy Melee build would be very good and fun to use if you get bored of Spellspam or just cant find a good spellspam setup. For certain things like EO, I can do it with greater efficiency with this Plague build than my Divzer/Grandmother Spellspam setups.

If yes, what are they and where do i acquire it?

I'm trying out this build in the future and i have all the things i need. Let's hope i don't get evaporated in TNA

I know you already did it but damn csst realy isn't hard. I have hundreds of runs and can solo it in just a few minutes(which is about the norm but also the dungeon doesn't allow for much faster running)

Can this build be used for TNA / can it partially solo Greg? The damage seems good but twains arc seems hard to use in certain boss fights, so I was wondering whether this build would be viable for raid content.

Also would stinger be a better replacement for plague? It maintains damage and still has high life steal.

You don't have to use twain's arc, the melee attack still does a lot of damage + powder special
