Guide 3 Star Ingredient Locations

I think for level 70+ rares their 3 star drops are at a 10% rate; I've killed at least 20 rares over level 70 and got the 3 star drop twice.

But it's worth noting that I killed the Kerasot Toxifont 6 times and got the sporehead twice, so I'm thinking that that drop rate is closer to 30% considering it drops nothing else

I'm 100% sure that Temporal Rift doesn't drop any ingredients simply because the mob spawns at the same place everytime.

What does the highwayman look like? Do you have a picture?

I know this doesnt help much, but just showing I have found this. Unless others did too uwu

 

It hasn't changed. it is about a 1/279 spawn chance, and has about 99.7% Drop rate for glimmering coins, from what I know, anyway.

Actually, I did the worm holes, no heart, but after loot running in dernel, I found a Grootslang heart, in a T3 chest.
Basically the Grootslang's Heart is not obtained by beating the worm holes, but possibly a rare drop by the Baby Grootslang in the resource tunnel?

 

The large lapis is also a drop from a rare mob called 'Yeti' in Neesak areas. Haven't found one in lusuco but i assume it spawns there as well

 

i can 100% confirm aquatic beauty is a drop from drowned sarnfic citizens, and not pirates. i grinded for a few hours at pirate cove yet i didnt find one, however, i found 2 at sarnfic

To follow up on this, I was grinding for ingredients for leveling my professions and large lapis dropped from a snow zombie (the zombies that spawn with white armor and are holding a snowball; are around the Nesaak area). I know the yeti is guaranteed to drop yeti fur but it's possible large lapis is a rare drop for all snow mobs, not just the yeti.

Also with the update that added identification to rare mobs, I noticed that the "Skelemancer" mob that spawns around Ancient Nemract is classified as rare; however every time I've killed it it has dropped nothing. It may be possible that this mob might drop unsettling soul/electroplasm since if a mob is marked as rare I feel it has to drop some sort of rare ingredient.

This actually drops from the rare "The Elephelk" enemy in CotL. It looks a lot like the Crystalline Behemoth. I found it in front of entrance to the large statue behind Kandon Beda. (Not the area below it.)
