Because of new abilities do we get more ability points?

does this mean we don’t need loot bonus/quality to lootrun anymore?

 

Man I can't find any caves past lvl. 50 those things are hiding from me

 

I really liked Craftmas Chaos :(

 

I feel the same way about this: cool idea but it feels out of place in terms of its appearance. Perhaps a wooden texture for the gui, similar to what merchants have, would work for the second image?

 

I was expecting some extra endgame small tasks (like gathering posts, but repeatable and more varied), but revamped loot runs seem pretty neat.

 

Why remove Craftmas Chaos?

 

This could use kind of a “red banner on a wooden wall” kind of look. Lootrunning is faster paced so there is no need to take out color but they could use some more fantasy themed methods. As for the chat, give Campion an animation like before and I’m fine.

 

I like the locked chests and the new caves system for early players. It incentivizes exploration like how tears of the kingdom has you going through each cave to get bubbul gems, while simultaneously introducing the concept of looting early on.

I do hope the locked chests don't become tedious for end-game loot runners, though, by adding extra time to each loot run. But I suppose whatever extra time they could possibly add is compensated through the loot quality of the chests and lesser dead times caused from being snipped through client-sided chests.

Those shiny mythics and the lootrun camps remind me a lot of Pokemon :P In Pokemon there's a 1 in 4,000 of a normal encounter being a shiny pokemon and they usually add some sort of safari, breeding or outbreak zones to reduce the odds of a normal encounter to, usually, around 1 in 500. So I wonder if loot run camps have increased odds like forgery chests do, with forgery chests being 1 in 100.

 

Also Grian and jumla just slept through the update lol (working on fruma I suppose)

 

Holy shit they finally fixed lootrunning. One concern, if less chests are being opened hopefully mythic odds are increased to compensate for that, especially with shiny mythical being added.

Either way though, glad to see the worst part of the game that some people really liked for some reason get bulldozed and replaced with an actually functional system which rewards playing the game rather than just knowing the right times to AFK.

I'm really looking forward to the Hero Beta for this one, I think the feedback and any changes made based on it should be really interesting.

 

Lootrun changes... finally, after literal years of waiting, I will start lootrunning!

Dang, Salted... you're making this update should be 2.1 instead of 2.0.3! This makes me more excited about my returning soon!
