Wynncraft: The Pay To Win update!

i'm seriously totally pokerfaced about this game since the release of 2.0. it feels like ever since then one's been locked into the overcomplicated playstyle developed for them by admins with no way to play outside the meta, and the update really hurt me as a mage by removing literally all proper healing unless you go for the light bender meta which i don't want to do

 

tried warrior in beta server and my dps seems to be just lower with any archetype
paladin seems to do no dmg and no changes were made
fallen + bmonk is obviously nerfed by the skilltree change
pure bmonk dps is lower(at least for me) 'cause of precise strikes' moving away from the core of the tree,
needing it to be accessed by an extra 1 skillpoint which forces me to give up some nodes if i want to get precise strikes
and the altogether damage nerfs like Ragnarokkr & Precise Strikes just makes me sad as a warrior main
i honestly don't care much about the vertical nerf of whirlwind strike, but all the other things look quite depressing when combined with each other

 

Dawg ima keep it a buck 50 with you, if you think that you have to play meta that's just an unironic skill issue.

Ima stay here being one of gods' mightiest morph user.

Well, yeah, that's sort of the point.
Warrior was getting ridiculous DPS, and needed a nerf, so it got one.

 

who cares about dps if we cant even hit in the first place
they need to lower whirlwind vertical boost
a 2.5 blocks hitbox would be ok if wwind didnt boost u 100 blocks in the air

 

Finally... the housing update has arrived.

 

You can hold shift to stay grounded. Decreasing the vertical boost of WW would mean a decrease in its utility, especially for things outside of combat (because Warrior still has no vertical movement spell, WW's boost is quite useful). A larger hitbox would be nice, sure, but because you can opt out of being launched by WW, the vertical boost isn't terrible in combat, and is actually pretty good outside of it.

 

Where is the Isles of Fiction? I keep crashing whenever I try to interact with the Seaskipper

 

Hey, I actually did make the hitbox exactly this big partway through the beta, which is now also on the live servers! I'll put out a thread later today with all the ability tree changes that happened since this changelog was posted.

 

I'm very glad that "limited-time items" on the Isles of Fiction meant only equipable items and not collectibles. Because I have invested a lot of time and effort in collecting all possible items in multiple versions.
It would have been a shame if that was for nothing and would have been a very demotivating influence on future events for me. But equipment items are good, I'm even very satisfied with that. So I can now at least free a few places in my bank :D

No, he actually got a point there. It is cheaper for you as the buyer and the seller. So if you want to sell something, with a real value of 100 emeralds, then a normal player would be listed with 105 emeralds and a Silverbull Subscriber would be listed with 103 emerlads. Yes that makes it cheaper for the buyer as well, but that is the point of @Cactern. Now every player will buy your Item instead of the more expansiv one. Meaning, the normal Player would be forced to sell the Item under its real value.

Maybe I got the Perk description from the shop wrong, but in case only you would get the discount (meaning for other players it shows 105 [100 + 5% taxes] emerlads but you get 102 [100 + 2% subsription bonus]), emeralds would be destroyed or created and that would be against what Zeer said in the Changelog that there "are no emeralds being created"

 

So sad these changes didn't go through! (real)

 

I know that you can shift but it feels terrible and not only that, it's risky Af

Ik that the hotbox is 2.5 blocks
But with wwind actual vert boost it's still not enough cause it takes you out of range

 

Are the balance changes between beta and release written somewhere?
