The latter 3 are placed and encased in ice, one is also surrounded by lava, suggesting that the ice is either due to the eggs or due to someone not wanting the eggs to hatch

 

Oh, aren’t those just the memory eggs for the big discoveries then? I don’t think they’re quite on the same level, maybe an equal or higher level, but a different building.

 

No? The “memory eggs” are floating player heads right? The pop up from the ground when an ult discovery activates. These ones just sit there and do nothing. Also, sarnfic and the egg in the ice canyon don’t have discoveries

 

Just use bash or something to crack the freakin egg bozos

I don't typically browse the forums that often. Sorry about the slight delay.

In all honesty though...I really don't have a lot to say. There wasn't really any specific way I went about hatching the egg- all I did was do the royal trials quest, put the egg in my inventory, and then play the server normally, which typically consisted of doing new quests, grinding professions to try and get closer to 1690, trying to discover all of the territories, running TNA/forgery several times, and other things. On the 15th the egg cracked into the "Cracked Suspicious Egg" while gathering dernic oil, and today on the 19th it fully hatched while exploring the Olmic ruins for cryptic key spots.

All I can really say is that there is no real specific set of steps to hatch it- it's mainly just patience. I'm assuming it's either based on time active online or distance traveled, but I can't say for certain. I'm unsure if anyone else has even gotten to the cracked phase yet, and I know there are likely others who did the exact same thing as me and kept it in their inventory and walked around as if it was a Pokemon egg or something.

There is also the slight possibility that it has some additional trigger that I did but others haven't, but as to what that is I have no idea. I will say that I play the server a lot, but I still do have to work 3 days a week as well as other events on other days I must attend to. The egg also gave status messages (they come randomly to you like NPC dialogue messages you must shift click to get through) while actively walking, so maybe you actually need to be moving for something to count.

I know this isn't a lot to go off of, but I am telling all I know. I honestly have no idea if anyone even got close to hatching the egg before me, and I'd need additional data from the playerbase in order to do any further deductive reasoning.

I'll try to answer any questions about the egg hatching if I can. Just be aware that I don't have a lot of things to go off of, because all I really did was play the game with an egg in my inventory.

Here’s what I suggest to everyone, including me:
Get that egg in your inventory, and play the game as much as you can. Explore, go places, find secrets, meander. Kick on some Talking Heads. Let this egg open up a gateway into a new era of scouring the map for anything others may have glossed over or missed entirely. Perhaps something more will come from it.

 

I honestly wonder if doing professions is key to solving this. I mean think about it: what better place to hide the solution to a puzzle than Wynn’s most unpopular activity?
