Ok, remove totems. Remove extra class and market slots. Remove HERO beta.

and for 1.20: /switch anf bigger housing island.

All these things give you ingame advantages against others so they should be removed.


Yes, Champion is controverial, but it is nowhere near "ruining the update", especially when Salted at least listens to us.

 

Is the Realm of Light quest going to require a quest helmet still? I really hope not because working around a level 74 helmet with only 1850 health isn’t ideal when you’re doing one of the hardest challenges in the whole game.

 

If this feature will become "op" in the future as you say, i think the CT won't wait any longer do nerf it or totally remove it

I didn’t know this until fairly recently, but once you’re in the realm of light you can just take off the helmet and switch it out for your regular helmet.

 

The unfair advantage is the coins from selling cookies, ik everyone has access to them. Millions of coins can take weeks to make.

 

Oh phew... I never tried that before because I remember I was in Maro Peaks when I took off my climbing helmet and I got teleported to the tutorial :-/

 

So, I am just gonna leave my opinion here regarding the controversy of the new champion rank:

Of course, everyone would love that there was not any kind of "p2w" or advantage over the others in the game. But I have been playing different mmo rpg for years and I can tell you wynncraft is not even close to the definition of p2w.
Most of wyncraft income comes from bombs, and they turned a possible advantage over the rest feature into a way to benefit everyone with the money you spend on the server.
Another source of income are crates, which give cosmetics, they keep on coming with new stuff that might appeal players but that wont give them any advantage.
Totems, another example of how to benefit a lot of players with your donation. If you think about it, the best features of donators are designed so they benefit not just them but everyone.
And now the most controversial addition, bomb bell. You gotta understand that there exist a few communities that track bombs. If a few active members of these communities get the new rank, it will benefit everyone cause they will share it. If you have a champion in your guild, he will tell you about bombs if you ask him. Once again, since wynncraft has a great community, a possible "p2w" feature turns into something that benefits donators and non-donators.

And the end of the day, you have to understand that wynncraft is a company with real expenses, so they try to find the balance between listening to the playerbase and being able to pay the bills.

 

I still think too many features, compared to others. Not many of them can be considered bad, but there are many of them.

 

Yeah I’ve always hated quest helmets, but for any quest that needs a quest helmet to teleport somewhere, once you get teleported you’re safe to take off the helmet.

 

I wish they broke up the extra pet levels evenly between all the ranks, that being a champion only perk is a little dumb to me :/

 

I wish the prices became low so the champion rank doesn't have to exist and there is no controversy around it

 

I wish the forums added reactions other then just like so I could hit that with a sad face :(

In my terms we are "still good enough"

 

i really hope the new light realm isnt just spammed with the same 3 hostile mobs with damage way too high for their level, eye forest and olm city does mobs right where theres not just thoughtless common hostile mob spam

and the whole thing about respawning in lusuco when you die in light forest
