no change to Yahyabot is kind of disappointing, to say the least. survival phases aren't fun when they're the literal only thing the boss consists of. if you know the spots, it's even more of a joke- and since they haven't been removed then I would assume they're supposed to be used. one of the things I hate most is time wasting, and that is literally all this boss is.

 

Without overhauling the arenas and mechanics there wasn't really much I could do, unfortunately. I basically had access to the mob files and that was it.

 

Unfortunate. I do hope someone gets around to changing it at some point if you can't.

It's a 1/5 or 1/6 chance to use it and it's super heavily telegraphed unlike before, cause he'll push and pull super rapidly beforehand, and in his last phase he'll also Explode twice before casting it(but he double-casts it for twice the hits)

 

I feel like it should be noted, for those who are worried about the difficulty, that even though a lot of bosses will be tougher, further buffs for the player will become available in the form of new items, tomes and corkian amplifiers, so it shouldn't be as bad as some think.

 

I agree with you, except for Cybel. Because it has so much regen, if you have any lag and don't kill it in one go you basically need to start the phase all over again. For me and a lot of others it isn't a fun fight, it's just a grind of hoping the stars align so you can make a small bit of progress. Adding more health to the Cybel and not removing its regen has basically made it impossible for me to Solo LI with my connection even using fairly powerful (non mythic) builds. I'm fine with all the other changes, but I really think the cybel needs to be have its regen cut down, if not to zero, to a lot less then what it is now.

For some context, in my last run, I beat the cybel but it was basically 20 min of having low framerate from all the mobs in the arena and particles and missing easy shots because everytime it got low it would teleport and reheal back to full. after the long and tedious fight, I beat Dr LI in a couple min tops. My morph hive archer is clearly not the issue here, it's a shitty boss made even worse by giving it more health.

 

...Cybel doesn't have any regen anymore. Why would I specifically not remove regen from Cybel?

 

When did that happen?

I still stand by the last part of what I said but I guess regen clearly wasn't the problem there

You're probably noticing the Rowdies casting heal.

 

The bosses aren't the most annoying part now. It's that spin attack works weirdly.
