Hello everyone! It's time for the first real patch of 1.20. New Raid: Orphion's Nexus of Light The path to Orphion is finally open! For the price of 3 Uth runes, you can fight your way through the Nexus of Light and free Orphion from the grasp of the parasite (...if you survive). - Opened Orphion's Nexus of Light raid - Added new endgame Weapon Tomes for the Orphion raid - Added the Tier 3 Corkian Amplifier to Orphion and the Colossus raid - Improved the emerald drop rate on raid rewards - Raids will now sometimes give broken Corrupted Dungeon Keys as rewards - The Nest of the Grootslangs' raid now has a 3-4 player requirement and a 320 level cap - Fixed a bug where the server would wrongly think a raid was in progress Guilds: - Improved Guild Slots to be closer to what they used to be before 1.20 Spoiler: More info on slots I say "closer" because the reward gap is less granular than it used to be before. We're trying to keep one upgrade per level so that means that we have to group the bonus slots together into more uncommon upgrades. Depending on your level, you might be a few slots lower than before. - Updated the "Rest Limit" (also called pity timer in the community) formula. It will now be less aggressive and reset faster. Spoiler: More info on how it works This formula is a tiny bit complex, but the way it works is that it increases the cost of attacking a guild's territory if they are losing territories in a short time period. The formula takes count of the size of the empire. This means that attacking a huge empire will barely affect this number while attacking a small empire will dramatically increase it. Over time, this number goes down. The decreasing rate is faster if the Rest Limit is high, this is to avoid making certain empire take too long before they can be attacked. - Dramatically improved the XP Seeking territory bonus. Note that you can now only have this bonus on 5 territories max - Added a limit to the Multi-hit territory bonus. Now, only up to 5 territories max can have the upgrade - Improved the Emerald Seeking territory bonus. It also now requires wood instead of fish - Fixed a bug where capturing an enemy's HQ would sometimes move your own HQ there - Fixed a bug where guilds could sometimes transfer territories even if they didn't own them Items: - New Major ID: Furious Effigy: Totem effects are twice as fast, but duration is halved - New Major ID: Peaceful Effigy: Your totem will last twice as long - 3 new Fabled items added - Minor rebalance of some tomes and items Housing: - Added new blocks and an Emerald Merchant NPC to Housing - Fixed a Housing bug where placing a painting would break the block behind it - Housing invitations are now network-wide! This also works with public houses on other servers. Joining the house will teleport you to the owner's server (assuming there is enough space). Others: - Added a new "Temporary Buff" section to the tab list. When using a consumable, casting a spell with a buff, picking up raid buffs or even using a powder armour special, the buff and the time left for it will show up there. - Friends, Party and Guild members will now have a coloured outline allowing you to see them anywhere. You can disable that feature with /toggle - Fixed a bug where Player Ghosts would sometimes disappear - Fixed a bug where certain words were wrongly censored with Player Ghosts - Fixed a visual bug where people would appear to be in your party when talking in chat - Level up broadcast will only send messages in chat now, instead of in the middle of your screen - Added more login messages - Fixed a bug where Merchant Booth would not have a cooldown if they automatically expired - Fixed a bug where the Price Check feature would sometimes not work on the Trade Market - Fixed a bug where buy orders would not always work on Trade Market - The option to disable the pouch auto-pickup has been moved to the /toggle menu as it was getting misclicked too often - Fixed a bug with The Forgery where switching server or doing /class would reset your Forgery Chest - Tools can now be sold to Blacksmiths - The web map has been updated to 1.20 - Lag improvements - Improvements to the Bob's Lost Soul quest - Fixed various issues with quests and discoveries The patch will be live to every server within 7h of this post!
