1.18 The Economy Update - Changelog

For those speculating on Orphion, it's long since been confirmed that the Gavel dungeons aren't coming in this update. Not to mention, those would almost certainly be in the Beta for testing.

 

My god, I love this update! But I'm concerned about one thing; it might be g2w(Grind to win).

 

I have already, i have about 16 bookmarks of builds i have done, the reason i asked the question was to bring it to their (CTs) attention. when im game having to recreate the build on a website is a pain. i understand how hard it can be to set up the stats correctly (although I dont know how it works) in minecraft a premade game, having to edit the base code so they have to work with what is already made, but from the coder point of view i have (im in a video game course in unity).if this comes across aggressive i apologise its just a small pet peeve from a game i real like

I was hoping it'd be out before the holidays but I guess not

 

I love the update so far, but it would be really nice if you could implement backpacks or something of sort. I found that my inventory got full so much faster with all of the new crafting ingredients. I will say that when I first started playing the beta, I got a little bit overwhelmed with all of the new additions and it was a little hard to catch on. If you're reading this and you don't have Hero, when the update releases for everyone, just go with the flow.

 

I'm surprised it hasn't come out yet.

 

It kinda make senses, a update this big and complex will have it's fair share of problems, even with the beta I can guarantee you that the first day or two will be unplayable or close.
That mean once the update come out, the staff can say goodbye the sunlight for a least a week, if not more.
I think they wanted to spend the holidays with their families and have fun before that

 

It's better for the update to come out next year and be near perfect rather than it coming out this year and be filled with bugs because the staff were rushing to finish before their vacations or the holidays. Take your time, I'm pretty sure the community is used to waiting for your amazing updates.

Not trying to rush the CT, take as long as necessary to make the update - but was 2018 the first year with no major updates in it?

 

I think so, but we got a lot of minor updates like the guild reworks. To be completely honest, I would rather have a lot of small updates like that, rather than these massive updates, but I guess there wasn't really anything they could do about that this time around.

On the other hand, the patch notes came out in 2018, so I guess it's technically a 2018 update even if it didn't drop until the next year :P

will remove tier 3&4 chest in new update?

 

They will just move them to other locations, and you will have to do a little puzzle to get them. However, some chests may be removed.
