Yo so real quick for the profession leveling system will there be separate xp bonus id's from regular xp and if player and profession xp bonuses are seperate will there be profession xp bombs in the store, or is there no do bonuses for profession levelling at all?
this is NICE man. this is just NICE. I'm just glad you guys are doing this, its GREAT. Thanks. Please never stop.
I shed a tear of joy when I heard the level cap was being raised, literally.
how to level up (if i am correct):craft lots of Teir 0 on an item and sell it or craft lots of items put 1 teir 0 and then sell in bulk
WHAT A GOOOOD
I think i know 80-90% of the map i think it could be fun to muscle memory everything again
Wait when re-reading this, I just realised, that what equipment we had prior to this, will we lose it or will this update just add to the item pool?
Add. Identified items and the old system will be there, so eco stuff is somewhat optional.
I love the concept of professions in Wynncraft !!
i was joking at first but this is literally runescape jesus christ i quit
i mean weve been waiting for dern but no give us runescape ignore the new areas just make the game even lesser of what it used to be
What? This is a revamp of the entire map, the long-anticipated MH questline, an intuitive crafting system, a professions system, new discoveries, new everything, and even if they’re not perfect yet, they’re still being worked on before the full release.
Sure, this takes inspiration from Runescape. It also takes stuff from tons of other games, like the Legend of Zelda, WoW, and probably tons more.
People have been asking for professions for probably years now, and now they’re finally a thing.
The CT can’t just always add what the players ask for, then the stuff that they’re planning would never be added because players will keep asking for more random new things that they want.
This, at least in my opinion, is more than enough for us to explore and enjoy for many months and is definitely a huge improvement, and in no way making the game less of what it was.
What it used to be wasn't particularly good though.
but it was unique is what im saying. Any other game that is the same as wynncraft is better in most aspects and i hate to keep bringing it up but runescape is one of em
yea yea its being worked on and not all from runescape but my point is theyre trying to be other games. Tell me one reason why we need a farming/crafting/smelting/forging system in this game and im sure i can give you a reason why we will never need it. Map discoveries are cool but i wanna feel like im exploring a place that has been a mystery to all only found by me but instead i see "FORGOTTEN VALE THIS PLACE USED TO BE RULED BY [person] AND WAS A HPLACE THEY STORED THE HIGH KINGS SECRET BODY PILLOW" every time i enter a place. A mystery is a mystery because it isnt told but telling us the lore and name of a place takes away all mystery of it.
Yes, you personally do not enjoy that. However a lot of people, like me, do enjoy getting to learn little tiny bits of lore of the world as we find cool hidden areas.
You do not think that we needed a farming/crafting system, however many, MANY other people did. Have you seen the number of suggestions for crafting and food and farming? There's more of them than housing suggestions! No, we did not NEED it, but it's something that a large portion of the community really wanted, and its not finalized yet.
And yes, Wynn is in fact an MMORPG. If you try to make an MMORPG, practically everything you add has been done before, maybe just in a different way. I challenge you to come up with a design for a game (any genre) that takes absolutely nothing from ANY other games, in that genre or otherwise. You'll never succeed. The only real way to make something 100% totally unique is to create a NEW genre and be the first one to make something in that genre, and even then you'll probably still have stuff taken from other games. Just because it takes SOME Stuff from Runescape does not mean that this is now suddenly going to be Runescape.
So what if it takes inspiration from Runescape? RuneScape was good and still is to this day, despite it being out for about a decade. I don’t really care where they got it, as long as it’s fun then I’ll play it
I was wondering, what will happen to our misc. items ? Will they update, or become obsolete ?
*inb4 conversion merchant for every junk item and misc item in the game*
If I remember correctly when Gavel came out, all the equipements where automaticaly converted, but I may be mistaken
