1.16 The Corkus Update - Changelog

They decided not to release a Beta because people will rush through new quests and then finish them again after the Beta with spoiled content, which will knock off the fun on solving the quests.

As for the rank, it's not just all about the Beta Testing Permission. You still have other cosmetics in the game. As a Hero of myself, I really feel embarassed for all the people with the same rank. Some players might think of donators only buying the rank just for Betas and it's not worthy at all after reading your comment.

 

I know that you have already been replied to, however, I'd like to add a few points in order to, hopefully, make things a little more clear.
First: beta testing is really needed for changes in code. This update is all about content, and there is no new code.
Second: the Hero rank Beta Access clearly says, "When we do a public beta to test a new update, . . .." To my knowledge, there is NO public beta test scheduled for the Corkus update. That being said, you really have nothing to argue with us about.
Third: Do you really believe, for even one minute, that we would try "to porpusefully [sic] piss contributors off"? How in the world would that make any sense? Without us contributors, Wynncraft wouldn't be able to remain viable. Your comment, here, makes no sense, at all. (I purchased VIP+ long before I became a mod.) Why would anyone do such a thing? I believe that your feeling here, is based upon your belief that we are somehow cheating Hero ranks out of a beta test, however, as my second point makes clear, that is not happening.
I hope that I have eased your mind, even to a small extent, about your concerns. I'd really like for you, and everyone else, to enjoy the Corkus update. It's really a sight to behold, with a huge amount of new content and new ideas.

All the songs are on our SoundCloud, they are private ATM. But we will probably open them up for the public when corkus is released. :)
