Did any of you ever hear about something called "emperial"?

 

Sounds like a foreigner's guess of "imperial" because 'empire' starts with an 'e'.

 

Yea, I knew it sounded weird.
Well, I guess we all make typos sometimes.

 

So I went to a party and now I have a tentacle on my neck...

3. Are you affiliated with another guild on these forums? Tell us, a little bit of your history as a member of Wynncraft, and if you've had any contributions to the community, your status: I have never joined a Guild before. I started playing wyncraft because Tundra recommended it . Right now I want to join the Guild because I want to have friends so please accept me^^ .

4. If you’re in search of a unique experience, do you think Imperial could deliver this? Which do you think this experience could be and how could we deliver it?: I'm new in Wyncraft so I don't have a lot of friends and as Tundra said I can have new friends in your guild.

5. Do you think you can get along with other people and show them support, camaraderie, and criticism?: Yeah I can If they need any support I'm always here but I would also like to have some support. And as I said I love having conservations with people so I think yes I can get along.

6. Which virtues/skills do you have? If you're unsure about your skills, then just tell us what your friends say! If they say you're smart, this is a virtue. Another way to answer the question is by being honest and sharing what you think about yourself. It's up to you, all type of answers are valid: I can speak English and German I can tell that I'm funny when I speak with my friends I can make them smile and I'm proud of this skill of mine. Other than those I don't have a lot of virtues.

7. In case of being accepted to Imperial, and after meeting our people, what will be the first thing you do? What is your objective?: I really want to meet the people in imperial and make new friends and sometimes hangout on discord.

8. Tell us about yourself! Tell us something you think is important for people to know about you: I'm 16 years old. I live in Turkey right now but I have lived in Germany for 3 years in the past. I also play league of legends and play the guitar.

I've been loving Wynncraft since the day i joined. Love the concept, because i like MMORPG's, I've been playing World of Warcraft myself. I really want to join a community group rn, i'm pretty bored

I ofcourse think this will give an unique experience, there are probably SO much members and everyone is different! there are some people you dont like, but there are people who become your besties
5. Do you think you can get along with other people and show them support, camaraderie, and criticism?: I think i would give some Criticism, but not Always bad criticism. And i'll Always accept criticism that is 'bad' like: hmm, you should've not done that and do that instead. Or anything else, i would accept all criticism and try to learn from it.

I dont. Alliances were stupid, they made everything for non members much more frustrating.

Then they always break up after two weeks or so.

 

So I got a 4 day vacation...

To bump our thread, this time I decided to write a little about typographic hoaxes, inspired on a couple of the ones we've gotten ourselves such as LmperiaL and Cor Nostrvm Deae.

So, there are a couple of examples of symbols being replaced for stylistic reasons before it happened to Imperial. Here are a couple of my favorite:

Playstation had one of my favourite marketing campaigns, which is now a symbol and embodiment of the Y2K aesthetic. Their use of symbols, in conjunction of their concepts was brilliant. Their mother concept was to demonstrate that gaming was part of reality, and they did it through thousand of creative and surreal ways. One of my favourite ways was in this advert which depicts the bare abdomen of a man, and he has two belly buttons with the catchphrase "one life isn't enough". From the same batch of adverts, there is another one which depicts a hand, and it has two double life lines, with the same catchphrase as the former.

In the case of playstation, its not only an stylistic reason, but a rational reason with foments their core purpose of bringing gaming into this world.

Another brand which also used other characters is Bulgari/Bvlgari.

The reason why in this case its used V instead of a U is because in Latin the V and U are the same. The name for this brand is the surname of italian native owner who founded Bvlgari, and Bvlgari in italian means "someone from Bulgaria".

Cor Nostrum Deae is also in latin, hence its one we've gotten before, but LmperiaL did come to be one of our bigger memes so far.

 

I feel like I already had a few interactions with this group, so I figure I should commit sooner or later

1: Name? Exvhius, or Ex works.
2: Location: Alaska. (Time zone changes on I-never-pay-attention-when-because-my-phone-does-that-crap-for-me)
3: I'm not sure. I was affiliated with Wybel Kingdom at one point, but I hardly did anything.
(EDIT) I haven't really done anything for the Wynncraft community. I'm a forum games recluse.
4: Again, not sure. Socializing has been good for my health in the past, so I should probably try and do some more of it.
5: I can get along with people, and I could probably afford to cut back on passive-aggressive remarks.
6: Skills and virtues? Well, I'm fairly smart and particularly good at math, albeit lazy. I'm fairly creative, and Void Rift is my display for whatever thoughts I pull out of the back of my head at the time.
7: I'd say hi. I'm fairly quiet around new people and loud-mouthed around friends. Can't really bridge the gap without starting.
8: I'm all over the place. My friends call me a bit of a masochist, I've done some neat things few have done with a fraction of the effort others put in. Some hate me for it, others envy me for it. The only thing that everyone who knows me can agree on is that I'm too lazy for my own good.
