Also... Just mathed that new mythic thunder dagger and it's going to be stupidly, insanely over powered...
With 3 tier 6 Thunder Powder it'll do...
153-963 Thunder damage alone. Not including the extra 11-27 neutral.
What the fuck. That's a super fast attack speed, with my build I can deal 35k damage uppercuts with a lucky hit and the max thunder on that is almost double. It'll easily do 45k multihit damage with a glass cannon % thunder damage build.

 

Wouldn't you find Water Powders to be even more useful on a Thrunda?

 

Imo Water and Thunder dont go well together, since most mobs that resist water tend to resist thunder as well .-.
If you don't go full thunder, you're better off adding a bit of air to bypass the thunder resistance of earth based mobs

 

Rip in Thrunda bonus Water Dmg....

has anyone found the new mythics yet

 

Thrunda happens to have a water boost... But it's really nothing that signifcant, my build gives me +134% thudner damage which far out-classes the water damage, which is hardly signficant.
People always tell me Thrunda is a "Spell spear" and that I'm "using it wrong" but... Thunder is far more useful on thrundacrack than water, it can give up to 20 dex and 13% thunder damage, which is a pretty huge boost.
Also, consierding I do 1200-2200 melee at supper fast and 25,000-35,000 uppercuts, I really don't need to worry about thunder def mobs

Actually, I find the exact opposite. Most mobs with a thunder resistance have a water weakness, and vice versa. This isn't always the case, but it often is.

 

Except you have to consider the elemental cycle : Fire > Air > Earth > Thunder > Water > Fire..
So what typically beats Thunder is going to be Earth, and Earth mobs tend to have more weaknesses towards Air, not Water .-.
Of course it's not going to always be the case, but that's the general idea behind the cycle as pointed out by the powder system more clearly.
